Spellbound

This week on Spellbound, the girls dive into theories surrounding the release of the sixth and seventh books in Sarah J. Maas’s ACOTAR series. (Come onnn, October!)

Along the way, they air their grievances with the American healthcare system, surmise why Harry and Meghan are moving back to the UK (Netflix: With love, we’re good.), and get appropriately excited for the upcoming movie Wicker, where Alexander Skarsgård is tall, hot, and entirely made of patio furniture. 

Somewhere in the midst of it all, they may or may not have confused plot points from across the romantasy multiverse and accidentally created their own alternate reality.  

This week, the girls of Spellbound are kicking off what some would say is SJM’s masterpiece, A Court of Mist and Fury. They dive into the first four chapters, where Feyre pulls a Runaway Bride—except instead of Richard Gere, she gets Rhysand. (Jealous.)

Along the way, the two Cancer girlies recap their birthday celebrations, wonder at the monster truck rally that was Taylor Swift’s wedding, and once again take a moment to appreciate the undeniable sorcery that is Zendaya.

This week, they wrap up their journey through SJM’s iconic first installment of A Court of Thorns and Roses as Feyre discovers that sometimes the hero you’ve been waiting for all along is yourself… well, kind of. Along the way, they celebrate the magic of summertime in Chicago, recoil at the UFC fight on the White House lawn, and wonder when reading somehow became “woke.”

This week on Spellbound, the girls continue their journey through Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses as Feyre goes from awkward Spring Court houseguest to wildly overconfident heroine with absolutely nothing resembling a plan. Along the way, they lament the outrageous prices of literally everything in 2026, share their best budget tips for surviving them, and discover the magic of Off Campus.

This week on Spellbound, the girls continue their journey through Sarah J. Maas’s A Court of Thorns and Roses. They recap Feyre’s first days in the Spring Court and wonder whether a complimentary estate, endless food, and magical servants are enough to improve her attitude. Along the way, they discuss Paul Anthony Kelly’s spectacular fall from grace, Bumble’s venture into AI-assisted dating, and why James Franco has once again appeared when nobody asked him to.

This week on Spellbound, Deidre and Gillian start an all new season and dive into the first five chapters of Sarah J. Maas's A Court of Thorns and Roses. Along the way, they discuss Deidre starring as the bride in a wedding shoot opposite an objectively beautiful gay man, the shocking long-term appreciation value of Shawn Hatosy, and Gillian provides an update on her ongoing legal (settlement amount undisclosed due to NDA). They wrap up with a game of “Casting Couch,” where they cast the characters of ACOTAR as characters from The Pitt.

This week, the girls return to the Ton to break down the second half of Bridgerton season four.  Along the way, they spiral into a discussion about prepper kits, review Connor Storrie’s Saturday Night Live debut, and lose their collective minds over a possible ACOTAR update from Sarah J. Maas. They wrap things up the only way the Regency era would want: with another chaotic round of MASH.

This week, the girls brave the moors for “Wuthering Heights,” Emerald Fennell’s new adaptation of the gothic classic. Along the way, they pitch a totally reasonable plan involving a cabal of female robots rising up to eliminate the billionaires, unpack how Heated Rivalry has somehow infiltrated the literal Olympics, and crown this week’s villain: the United States Department of Justice. They wrap it all up with a new segment called The Therapist’s Couch.

This week, the girls dive headfirst into Bridgerton season four, unpacking the yearning, the drama, and everything the ton has to offer. They celebrate Nancy Meyers returning with a new rom-com, lose their minds over the meteoric rise of Heated Rivalry—including Connor Storrie landing a guest spot on Saturday Night Live in March—and take a joyful detour to Missouri, where a farmer is lovingly and scientifically educating the masses about birds being queer. They wrap things up with a Regency-era game of MASH!

This week, the girls are joined by their dear friend Nathan for a deep dive into everyone’s newest (and hottest) obsession: Heated Rivalry. They talk about getting back to work after the holiday break (derogatory), the surprising pipeline from Christian rock to pop stardom (looking at you, Katy), and the tragic phenomenon of early-aughts icons sliding into full-blown mom drama (hate to see it). They wrap things up with a game of MASH and build Nathan the ultimate sports-romance happily-ever-after!
