Spice Up Yo Fall Treats

Call us basic but we LOVE Fall!! But we also like to be healthy. Today we share some healthier alternatives to popular fall drinks and snacks and some ways to order drinks that are a little healthier when you’re out and about.

RECIPES:

Pumpkin butter: https://www.halfbakedharvest.com/6-ingredient-spiced-pumpkin-butter/

Pumpkin spice yogurt:

  • Pumpkin butter + plain greek yogurt - both to taste, OR

  • 3/4 cup plain greek yogurt, 1/4 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp maple syrup, 1/4 tsp pumpkin pie spice, pinch salt. Feel free to use this as a starting point and adjust ratios as you like!

Pumpkin spice coffee:

  • Coffee, pumpkin butter, milk - all to taste. Add additional spice and/or maple syrup as needed, OR

  • Coffee, pumpkin puree, pumpkin pie spice, a little maple syrup, milk

Apple chips:

  • Slice apples to 1/16” (easiest if done with a mandoline)

  • Place slices on baking sheet and sprinkle with cinnamon

    • Feel free to add other Fall-favorite spices

  • Bake at 200° F for 1.5 hours

  • Flip slices

  • Bake for another 1 hour

  • Devour :)
