2011, Ghibli film about a girl who honour her father in the Korean war by waving ship signal flags every day. She is an average 16-year-old school in 1963 in Japan. She gets sucked into saving the school's clubhouse because she is into the journalism club leader Shun. Shun and Umi like each other until Shun realizes they could be siblings. Once they realized they could be brother and sister they grow apart. Umi stays her Shun's side until the end until they completely know if they are true siblings or not. They eventually clean and repair the clubhouse to save it from getting destoryed.

The secret world of Arrietty is about this girl who is about 10 centimeters tall who lives under Sho's great aunt's house. Sho arrives at her grand aunt's house because he is sick and needs to get away from the city to be more relaxed but gets stuck into a small adventure around the house with Arrietty. Arrietty and her family can't be seen by humans because they could be taken away or killed. Arrietty gets spotted by Sho and her and her family have trouble by moving out and having to find a new home as the maid of the house captures one of the little people to show off the world that little people truly exist in so Sho and Arrietty team-up.

Ponyo is a fish who gets trap in the trash in the ocean as the boy name Sosuke frees her from the trash. Ponyo's father wants to return her to the sea to revert the balance to the world and stop the ocean from going crazy and overflow the world. It is up to Ponyo and Sosuke if Ponyo wants to stay human and lose her magic powers or stay a fish and have magic. Hailie and I talk about Howl's Moving Castle as this film is both our favorite ghibli film. The story follows Sophie who is 18 young and quiet has her quiet life turned upside down when he meets the wizard Howl. Howl helps Sophie discover herself and Sophie helps save Howl. Sophie who is 18 turns 90 because of the witch of the waste put a curse on her because she hung out with Howl and she was jealous. She stays 90 until the end as her love for Howl de-ages her and makes her become young girl.

The baron returns in this film as he gets more of a character development. Haru finds life not interesting and trouble until she saves this cat from being hit by a truck. The cat has human features and thanks Haru. She eventually goes to the cat world and turns into a cat and now she doesn’t want to be a cat or get marry!

Chihiro and her parents are transported to the spirit world and are trapped. As chihiro’s parent turned into pigs and the tunnel is turned into a lake as Chihiro can’t go back now. Chihiro is helped by Haku, Kamiji and Lin with the bath house with working there. Chihiro will escape if she can remember her name and memories!

Princess Mononoke is an anime film from 1997 about a boy name ashitaka who got cursed from a demon boar and has to figure out to lift the curse before he dies. In order to save himself he has to save the forest and stop the humans from enraging more of the animals by teaming up with San, a girl raised by the wolf god Moro, to save the forest and the forest spirited from utterly chaos and death!

A drama and romance Ghibli film about a girl name Shizuku who likes to read and write but goofs around school. Seiji a boy creates wooden violins and wants to persuade that as a career and to promise each to get reach their goal!

Pom Poko is about raccoons losing their Forrests to the humans to create an urban area. Raccoons unite to use their illusion magic to trick humans and stop or delay the project to protect their home.

An underrated Ghibli film. It is a human pig fighting against sky pirates to achieve money and fame until he is defeated by an American and has to rebuild his plane to get his rematch. The wage is made between Marco debt and Fio, a charming and young girl who helps Marco rebuild his plane and reunite the sky gang to be friendly again for honor!
