Spielcast

Cody is back and Marcus joins the guys to discuss all of the games they have been playing.

Blue Lagoon is discussed and Kaleb thinks it’s art and theme are a little too reminiscent of a Disney Island Hopping movie.

Kaleb and Shelby join Jeff and Scott to talk about all the things they have been drinking and playing. Scott is excited for football season to start, little does he know about the storm headed his way.

The guys run down what they have been playing; a lot of two player games.  Then they do their top two player games recommendations--which have changed significantly since Episode 1 of Spielcast!

In Part One the guys talk about the many games they have been playing. And a listener question sparks opinions on Kickstarter.

On the second part of episode 52 Melissa answers the fast 5, throws shade at her husband and teams up with Scott to break a 20 questions record.

Container sails onto the table when Scott’s wife Melissa joins the show. Jeff can’t contain his disdain but it doesn’t sink Cody’s enthusiasm. Scott suggests thinking out of the box and taking a more nuanced look.

Peter joins Spielcast to talk about Lowlands, Istanbul: The Dice Game and board game acquisition disorder.

Whoa! It's our 50th episode! We made a board game geek guild to commemorate: boardgamegeek.com/guild/3332

Somewhere in this episode we talk about some games, presumably we like at least one of them.

Games included in the discussion:

Werewolf (legacy?)

Magic Maze

Charterstone

Riverboat

Dropmix

In our 49th Episode of the Spielcast, we discuss two new and very different games. We attempt to achieve a higher plane of consiousness in "The Mind" and then attempt to farm alpacas on the higher plains of "Altiplano."

Games discussed the week:

Altiplano

The Mind

Dragon Castle

Beyond Baker Street

Nusfjord (Again...suprise!)
