The gaming industry has a major influence on our world today. Some stories told through this medium inspire us and some of them just help us escape our daily worries as we immerse ourselves withing it.

In this discussion with my good friend Lubna we talk about the impact of gaming growing up from the retro days of arcades to now. We also talk about the prejudices within the community based on gender.  

Games such as 'The Last of Us' ,  'Silent Hill' and 'Resident Evil are timeless pieces that have tremendous depth and we explore some of these ideas.

10 years ago I had the unique opportunity to star in an indie-mockumentary film called 'Thunderlust' directed by my great friend Steve Pratt. It was a wonderful experience working on this project that was set in the beautiful city of Amman, Jordan.

The gist of the story is about a dysfunctional glam metal band travels to the Middle East to shoot their music videos. What could possibly go wrong?

In this episode I have a great conversation and catch up with the director Steve as he walks us through the behind the scenes of this project and the essentially the history of how 'Thunderlust' came to be, what it has accomplished over the years, the challenges in its creation and where it stands today.

A brief conversation with a close friend about his experience with Covid 19.

Growing up we were told by our elders what to do in order to be successful. As children we obeyed without question but now as adults we realize that they in fact had no idea what was going on and just 'winging' it with us. Now we are doing the same.
