Ryan reflects on how complete of a game the Spartans played and how it felt sending Cade McNamara home from Spartan Stadium with another loss. Then John Wagner joins the show to discuss the college football “Super 16” poll and recap the college football weekend.

October 21, 2024 ~ Another rough showing for the Michigan Wolverines, as Michigan loses to Illinois 21-7 and moves to 4-3 on the season. Anthony wonders how the reigning National Champions can have such a lack of quarterback depth after the departure of JJ McCarthy. October 18, 2024 ~ Anthony and Ryan go through the NFL schedule for week seven and give out their best bets for each game including the Lions taking on the undefeated Minnesota Vikings. Then a familiar voice calls into the show… PO BILL. Post Office Bill calls in to discuss the disgusting act by Oregon and Dan Lanning by exploiting the rules to defeat Ohio State. That leads to Anthony and Ryan doing a deep dive on plays that fan bases are not over yet including “trouble with a snap”. October 18, 2024 ~ Anthony and Ryan go through week eight of the college football schedule and give their best bets for the loaded Saturday slate that include Michigan versus Illinois, Michigan State versus Iowa and Texas versus Georgia. Then Jeremy Reisman from Pride of Detroit joins the show to discuss the Lions upcoming matchup with the undefeated Minnesota Vikings and if the Lions phone has been busy this week trying to find a replacement for Aidan Hutchinson.

October 18, 2024 ~ Anthony and Ryan break down the electricity that came from the ALCS where the Yankees and Guardians went back and forth in the late and extra innings that ended with David Fry from Cleveland hitting a walk off two run home run to cut the Yankees series lead to 2-1. Then Anthony dives back into the college football “super league” conversation that was started yesterday but brings up how the SEC and Big Ten commissioners are meeting up to come up with a possible scheduling agreement for football.

October 16, 2024 ~ The focus shifts to the Detroit Lions. Yesterday it was announced that the Detroit Lions and defensive tackle Alim McNeill agreed to a four-year contract extension with $55 million guaranteed. Anthony and Ryan break down the recent contract extensions from the Lions and how the Brad Holmes has done a good job at retaining their home-grown talent. Then Anthony and Ryan discuss the need to make a move to fill Aidan Hutchinson’s role, what they feel comfortable trading and who the Lions should target and what each target could cost.

October 16, 2024 ~ Anthony and Ryan breakdown the championship series in the MLB as the Yankees take a 2-0 series but Anthony still feels sour over the Tigers losing to Cleveland in the ALDS and doesn’t want to watch the American League series.
