October 7, 2024 ~ Anthony and Ryan talk about Michigan State. The Spartans suffer their third straight loss, this week at the hands of Oregon 31-10. While Ryan feels discouraged by the play of the team these past three weeks, both him and Anthony agree that first year Head Coach Jonathan Smith is doing a good job this season but may not have the “horses” to compete this season. Then John Wagner joins the show to discuss the Tigers game one loss to the Cleveland Guardians in the ALDS and the chaos that took place in college football this past weekend.

October 7, 2024 ~ The American League Divisional Series kicked off on Saturday and the Tigers got blown out 7-0 versus Cleveland. The Guardians scored five runs before recording an out. Anthony feels like this is the carriage turning into the pumpkin moment, while Ryan says this is the Tigers “burn the tape” game and can move on with Tarik Skubal taking the hill in game two. Then the show shifts focus to College Football and the Michigan Wolverines. Michigan falls to Washington 27-17 on Saturday night and during the game starting QB Alex Orji was pulled for 7th year senior Jack Tuttle. Anthony thinks the offense is moving in a more competent direction with the quarterback change.

October 4, 2024 ~ Anthony and Ryan break down the electric ending of the MLB Wild Card Round as the New York Mets scored four runs in the ninth inning to beat the Milwaukee Brewers 4-2, then dive into the overtime thriller on Thursday Night Football where Kirk Cousins went off for over 500 yards as the Falcons beat the Buccaneers 36-30. After recapping what went on Thursday night, Anthony had to vent about the WNBA and how the league was given a golden opportunity and has mishandled it every step of the way.
