For years I’ve been working with the elements. They are my primary map for my personal practice and now I’ve brought that offering out into the world via the Elemental Embodiment program. But for a long time I was really blocked around this, because I couldn’t reconcile the differences between various elemental systems.
What do I mean by this? Almost every major system or school of thought incorporates the elements somehow...from Tibetian Buddhism, Native American lineages, Ayurveda, Witchcraft, and yes Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). These valuable systems have a lot more in common than in conflict, but for years I felt I had to reconcile the differences and have the answers about where these systems diverge.
And then I finally realized I didn’t need to have the answers and that I could just really love the questions, and have fun exploring the wisdom each system has to offer.
I’ve brought my friend and licensed acupuncturist, herbalist, and yoga and meditation teacher Christa Wroblewski to help me explore where four and five element theory do and do not intersect... plus we get into some other TCM related wisdom related to overall health and abundance.
In this episode we talk about:
