This week I was joined by Professor Silvester Carl Henderson as he prepares to celebrate the  "21st Year Gospel Community Celebration Concert". This event will be held on May 2, 2015, in the Los Medanos Recital Hall. The concert time is 7:00 P.M. This concert will focus on "Celebrating and Supporting African American Males.

Dr. Tyrone Howard, acclaim motivational speaker and Professor from University of California, Los Angeles, will serve as the "Motivational Speaker" for this event. He will concentrate on talking to the college and East County community about strategies to improve success for our African American Males.

Additionally,the Los Medanos College Gospel Choir”, has embarked on a mission to Celebrate and Support African American Males through the usage of the Liberal Performing Arts, as an alternative model of education for today's youth, This concepts helps youth  pursue career paths that are service-oriented or related to communication and entertainment.  It is our belief that one of the effective ways to support children and decrease gang violence, murder, teen pregnacy and other social problems, is to support traditional education through the passion interest point of  many students, which is music and entertainment. The mission of the event is to offer assistance to African American Males through Liberal Arts Education.

Bobby was born and raised in Atlanta, GA. He is the youngest of 13 children and was the first believer in his family. He graduated from Columbia Bible College and has served in churches in South and North Carolina. 

The Pruitts moved to Texas in April of 1994 to join the staff of Hill Country Bible Church of Austin. Bobby has served as the Lead Pastor of Hutto Bible Church since July of 2009.

The Jus Being Real Gospel Show began in 1996 at KYOU Santa Ana, Ca from their the show has grown to a multi-national gospel show reaching as far as India, Africa and the United Kingdom.    We are committed to bringing you the best in Real Praise! and Real Worship from the desert to the sea.   Gary Robinson' has a passion for Gospel Music. Unveiled-Hagar a slave, a foreigner and a stranger in a land not her own.  Hagar struggles to find her identity, her purpose and God's plan for her life.  As women we tend to feel as though we are a stranger in our own homes that we are trapped, undentified and forgotten.  Hagar's story will take us on a journey of discovering who we are and how we can overcome a wounded heart through God's plan for our lives. 

Unveiled Women of the Bible Series discusses the five fold principles and application for our lives today as we encounter Christ through those troubles, blessings and find encouragement for the soul.

A woman cries out to the magistrate, "Revenge me my advesaries!" and God heard her cries as well as the magistrate. Here is another example of a woman that understood that if there is no justice then there can be no peace.
