John the Baptist declared, "Behold! The Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world! In this sermon, we will trace the Lamb from Genesis 3:15 to Luke 2, where the Lamb was born in Bethlehem.

In Isaiah 7:14 we read, “You shall call His name Immanuel, translated, God with us.” Yes, believe that God wanted to redeem mankind and He was willing to send His Son. What does Matthew teach us about the virgin birth? A lot! Starting with Matthew 1:18 and walking through verse 25 we discover the virgin birth is fundamental to the Christian faith, that it was God's plan for mankind's redemption, that this plan was revealed 700 years before it happened, and that we must personalize the virgin birth. The Savior Jesus took our sins on the cross. The sinless one bore all our sins.

Do you believe that the Bible is the word of God? We will walk through five movements of the Christmas account that clearly show us Scripture is God-breathed (2 Timothy 3:16-17).

Thanksgiving - You could focus on everything others have or everything you don't have, or you could focus on everything you already have. Take some time to write down your list of everything you already have.

Jesus sends His apostles to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. They are to go preach and heal, and they are to invite the Jews to receive the message of the Kingdom of heaven. As they go they are to trust God to meet their needs.

Jesus calls His disciples to Him and empowers them. We are given the names of the twelve apostles.

Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and disease among the people. Jesus saw the multitudes and was moved with compassion for they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Jesus says that the harvest is plentiful but that the laborers are few, and that we must pray to the LORD of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.

Jesus heals two blind men and a mute that was demon-possessed. His power demonstrates that He is the Son of God. Miracles are the proof that He was indeed the Messiah.

Jesus goes to raise Jairus' daughter who has died. On the way, he heals a woman who reaches out and touches the hem of His garment. Her "issue of blood" for twelve years was immediately healed. Jesus has power over death.
