Acts 9:1-19a -

Saul is on his way to Damascus to arrest followers of Jesus. Suddenly, a bright light from heaven surrounds him, and he hears the voice of Jesus Christ asking, "Why are you persecuting me?" Saul becomes blind and is led into the city.

The Lord then speaks to Ananias in a vision, telling him to visit Saul. Though afraid at first, Ananias obeys, lays hands on Saul, and Saul regains his sight. Saul is filled with the Holy Spirit and is baptized.

John 20:1-18

Mary Magdalene went to Jesus' tomb and found it empty. She told the disciples, and they saw the grave clothes but didn't understand. Mary stayed and met Jesus, though she didn't recognize him at first. When he called her by name, she realized he had risen. She went and told the disciples, "I have seen the Lord!"

John 12:12–27: Jesus enters Jerusalem and is welcomed as King. He then explains that His death is near and necessary, teaching that true life comes through sacrifice and following God's will.

John 19:1-16a - Pilate had Jesus flogged, and the soldiers mocked him with a crown of thorns and a purple robe, calling him "King of the Jews." Pilate told the crowd he found no guilt in Jesus, but they insisted he must die. Despite Pilate's attempts to release him, the crowd chose Caesar over Jesus, and Pilate handed him over to be crucified.

John 18:28-40: Jesus is brought before Pilate, accused of claiming to be a king. He explains His kingdom is not of this world. Pilate finds no guilt in Him but the crowd chooses Barabbas to be released, and Jesus is condemned to be crucified

John 15:1–17 describes Jesus as the true vine and his followers as the branches. He teaches that they must remain connected to him to bear good fruit. Jesus calls his disciples to love one another as he has loved them and reminds them that true friendship with him is shown through obedience and love. 🌿

John 13:1–30 tells how Jesus humbly washes his disciples' feet to teach them about serving others with love and humility. During the meal, he also reveals that one of them will betray him, and Judas Iscariot leaves to carry out the betrayal.

In John 11:1–44, Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead. Though He arrives after Lazarus has been in the tomb four days, Jesus declares, "I am the resurrection and the life." He calls Lazarus out of the grave, and Lazarus comes back to life, showing Jesus' power over death.

Matthew 17:1-9

In Gospel of Matthew 17:1–9, Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a mountain where He is transfigured before them, shining in glory as Moses and Elijah appear beside Him. A voice from heaven declares Him to be God's beloved Son and tells the disciples to listen to Him. Overwhelmed with fear, they fall down, but Jesus reassures them and later tells them not to share what they witnessed until after His resurrection.

John 4:46–54 tells the story of a royal official whose son is dying. He comes to Jesus and asks Him to heal the child. Jesus tells him, "You may go; your son will live." The man believes Jesus' word and leaves. On his way home, he learns his son was healed at the exact moment Jesus spoke. This becomes the second sign Jesus performed in Galilee, leading the official and his whole household to believe.
