Currency of Heaven~ Money just isn't the same anymore. It used to be that paper currency was all there was, and every country had their own. The common factor in all currencies in the past was that they were backed by a common asset - gold. Fort Knox was the repository of the gold that backed the US Dollar until Pres. Nixon took America off of the gold standard in 1971. The Silver Certificate bill gave way to the Federal Reserve Note, allowing inflation to rear it's ugly head, and put the entire world onto a system that is based upon the 'faith' that a dollar bill is actually worth the price of the paper it is printed on. Today all of the world's currencies are FIAT, i.e., not backed by any hard asset, but simply by the 'full faith and CREDIT' of the country that sponsors the currency. Soon there will come a time when the 209 world currencies will again be backed by hard assets - precious metals, and other in-ground assets. The currecnies again will have intrensic value, not just a 'declared' value that is based upon a shared delusion. This is the same system that has been used in the religious systems of the world since Jesus returned to the Heavens some 2,000 pluis years ago. At Sinai, God the Father gave Moses a set of Laws that if put into practice would have set Israel apart from all of the 'religions' of the world that relied on the faith of the practitioner that 'their god' was real. Israel rejected this system, preferring to believe that salvation came by heritage not by keeping the Law. Jesus came to earht the try and get Israel back on track, by giving them the 'gold standard' of His Words. But this didn't happen. A counterfeit 'truth' was presented by a false apostle that taught that 'faith' was more important that fact, and truth was less important than simple belief. This is about to change.

Spirit of Truth Ministry is NOT a money-making endeavor, far from it. We have never, and will never beg for money (as a waif on a street corner) in order to fund a lavish lifestyle; none of those of us that participate in the operations of this ministry get a single dime from our efforts to keep the information flowing to those that want and need to hear it. This is sometimes discouraging, as there have been times when just having enough money to pay for our web sites, and the Blog Talk Radio station, has been an 'iffy' proposition. We have not set up a Go Fund Me page, and even though we have a 'Donation' page on our main web site, we never talk about it. Yet God and the Holy Spirit has ALWAYS come through with enough to keep us going.  So DON"T send money. So WHY to we keep going when there does not seem to be any point in the exercise? Because THIS is what God has called us to do, and BY GOD we will do it until the end.  We KNOW God is working with us for one simple reason - You will hear things on our programs The Bible on Trial and The Revelation of Jesus with Rick Sterling that you will not hear anywhere else; things so strange and wonderful that it is impossible for this information to have come from a human mind. The Holy Spirit is working with us (especially Rick) because the prophetic and spiritual understanding that is being given makes so much sense that it could only have come from the Words of Jesus and of God through our Mother, the Holy Spirit. So join us today April 7, 2021 for our program The Bible on Trial, at 10 AM PST to hear what the fuss is all about, and see if you don't agree that what you hear must be from God: blogtalkradio.com/sot.

First Rule~ When a teacher has to deal with brand new material for a class of students the first rule of which he/she must convince the class is that they don't know what they don't know. This can be very difficult in some cases because students often feel that their own understanding of the  knowledge of a particular subkect is ubiquitous, i.e., universally known, and they don't actually need to learn what you are teaching them. One common phrase given in response to a teacher introducing new material is, "I already know that!" This is particuarly true in higher grades.  Admitting that you don't know what you don't know frees you to bring an inquisitive mind to the subject, uninhibited by preconceived notions of what 'should be', and allows you to establish the mind set of simply 'What IS'. Without this, there is NO learning, and the thought processes that are required for establishing the logic stream that leads to understanding can never happen. This is particularly true in "subjective" subjects such as the study of prophecy and the order of End Time Events. If you are inculcated into a well established 'religion' that has it's own unique prophetic understanding, then it is virtually impossible to go backward to the point of saying "I don't know what I don't know", and start over from the beginning of the learning curve, and you will never be able to see the logical process that will eventually allow you to see and understand Truth.  Why is this important? Because without doing this you can't humble yourself, and admit that you might just be wrong in how you view the prophecies of the End. So rather than gaining a sense of peace, you are constantly worrying about where you are in time, and won't know what you need to know to be an effective servant of the God you claim to love.

Repair~ Have I ever told you that I HATE doing car repairs? And knowing Rick (Sterling) as I do I know that he is not enamoured with doing car repairs either. The reason that I began doing auto mechanics in my youth was that my dad was not about to buy any of his kids (two sisters and a brother) new cars when good used cars were fairly cheap in the 1960's. My dad grew up as a farm boy where nothing was thrown away-it was repaired. He wanted me and my brother to have the ability to buy cars cheap and repair them.  Yesterday I spent 3 1/2 hours putting a new neutral safety and transmission shift switch in my 1999 Saturn SL-1. This after having earlier put in a rebuilt valve body in the transmission because of various OBDII codes that came from my tester. This old car has given wonderful service to our family since my father-in law bought it new, but any more it is just one thing after another, and I am sick of it. This is the final repair I will do on this car. I'm going to fix it, and as soon as I can I'm going to sell it (or give it away) and get something else. There comes a time when it is counter productive to through good money after bad. The same is true for the old idea that we are "Saved by grace throught faith"! This 'new plan' is now an old, outmoded idea that has not worked from it's beginning in the first century C.E., when Paul invented it. It is time stop trying to repair something that is broken beyond repair. It is time to get rid of it and go back to the original Plan of Salvation that God gave to Adam and Eve in the Garden, told to Ancient Israel in the Old Testament, and is the reason Jesus came to earth to renew for the Kingdom of Heaven.  The church has been trying to fix something that never needed repair, because they believed the big lie as if it was true.

Buyer's Remorse~ We all have had the opportunity to regret a purchase. You look at a shiney new car, and your heart goes 'pitter-patter', you smell the leather seats, and look at the fancy touch screen info-tainment center, and you tell yourself you just have to take this car home. But the instant you drive it off the lot you know in your heart of hearts you have made a BIG mistake.  Regret can come from being given too much information too quickly, such that it disguises the critical information you need to make a good decision. The other thing that promotes buyers remorse is going into a sales situation (merchandise or ideas) not knowing what you need to know to understand the pitfalls and problems of a particular issue. The job of a good salesperson is to give the buyer just enough data to make the sale, and not enough for the buyer to know when they have been had. And often that very salesperson does not know all the details about the problems of what they are selling to be able to tell the customer what the problems will be with their purchse down the road.  We at Spirit of Truth Ministry have seen this situation regularly play out time and again in the spiritual sense. A 'believer' has been taught over a long period of time by another sincere believer that salvation is simply believing that Jesus dies for their sins, and all they must do to be saved is claim the 'blood of Jesus', that He died for their sins, and now they are saved. What these people don't know, and often don't want to hear, is that down the road they will regret not knowing the truth of salvation that Jesus taught, that is different from what they were  taught in church, but by the time they have found out the truth it is too late. Buyers Remorse in the physical world can be difficult, but regret in the spiritual world can by a tragedy. Learn Truth, No Regrets!

Our recent studies here at Spirit of Truth Ministry have been showing that the study of End Time Prophecy has not been the stagnant, boring, insipid and uninteresting process that so many Christians see this type of prophecy to be. If you have missed it, what Rick and the Spirit of Truth Team have found is that there is an alternate reality to the horror and terror that is seen in the Death Road Prophecies in the book of Revelation, and that we have all been taught since the late 1800's. Beasts, earthquakes, fire and destruction that is seen in most of Revelation is so frightening for most people that they have no interest in learning about what is in store, because people don't like looking at events that will probably kill them before they see Jesus coming in the clouds. But WHAT IF there was another time stream that did not involve the blood and death that we have been taught is the path to eventual eternal life? What If God had placed in Revelation an alternative that included Peace and Prosperity rather than Death and Destruction as the main component of the Prophecies of the End? Under these conditions would you be interested in finding out what these prophecies say, and how they would affect how the world views God? Join Spirit of Truth Ministry today, April 23, 2021, for another edtition of The Bible on Trial, at 10AM PDT, and learn what is the reality that will show you the choice the world has already made, that puts us on a different path to eternal life!

Royal Funeral~ Today marks the Royal Funeral for Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh. He rides to his grave in a Land Rover that he helped design, followed by a royal limousine that carries his wife of 73 years Queen Elizabeth, and on foot by Prince Charles and the other Royal Family members. It is a sad day for both England, and the the Royal Family. There of course is also a church service that has all the trappings of a High Church funeral befitting the Prince.  I find it interesting that over 2000 years ago on Wednesday March 22, 30 C.E., The Passover, before sunset in Israel, another Royal Prince died and was buried, but without fanfare, and without any of the trappings of a Royal funeral. If anyone deserved a Royal Funeral it was this man, Jesus of Nazareth, who had been executed by His Father for the purpose of paying the penalty for the disobedience of His own Kingdom, the death of whom made it possible for His righteous Kingdom to access Eternal Life through that payment.  Instead, Jesus was removed from the cross, and hurried into the tomb by certain of His followers, in order to have His body at rest before the sun set, that began the Passover, the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (a Festival Sabbath). No fanfare, no solemn service, no acknowlegement of a job well done. Nothing. Yet those of us that know that Jesus is the King of the Kingdom of the Heavens, and know what He did by coming to this earth and bringing the truth about how salvation works from the Father, and offering eternal life to His Kingdom as a reward for the obedience to the Commandments that was lost in Eden.  It is HIS words that bring life eternal, and those words must become a part of those that would be in His Kingdom. By His resurrection His words are made real in our lives. We will live as long as His words live in us.

Making the Cut~ When a professional golfer has a low enough two round score on the first two days of a tournament he/she is said to have 'made the cut'. When an actor reads for a part in a play, and beats out the other actors for that part they 'make the cut'. This expression can be used in nearly every field of endeavor for meeting a minimum standard of performance sufficient to do a job.  It can also apply to the medical field, where a medical doctor has to 'make the cut' in order to perform a surgical proceedure on a patient. Having just gone through four MOHS surgeries recently for skin cancer, I was wondering if this could also apply to a patient that is the 'cutee' as opposed to the 'cutor'. I will have the scars to prove that I was a cancer survivor - more like a cancer crusher. And maybe this could also apply to life in general, where we all have the scars to prove that "Life is not for sissies" - that we all carry scars that may not show on the skin, but may only be 'known but to God'. In order for salvaton to operate effectively in our lives,we must all allow God, the Great Physician, to perform surgery on our hearts and minds (intellect), and show us those things that we need to cut out of our lives that will keep us from being wholly righteous in fact, such that we can experience the healing power of that righteousness in our lives. This is incredibly difficult to do, because anyone that goes under the knife that they themselves wield knows how painful an experience this can be, by cutting out the cancer of lies that keeps us from learning and knowing the truth that leads to salvation.  By doing this we show God our willingness to withold nothing from Him/Them. And after we 'make the cuts' God will remove the scars and we will be holy, righteous, and gain eternal life through Him.

The Difference~ "Life is hard for kitties!" (Or doggies). I use this expression to emphasize how lucky my animals are to live in our house. I will say this to them as I am feeding them their breakfast, or as I am getting Maggie ready to go out for a walk, or even as I am cleaning the cat box. Yes, I know they don't actually know what I am saying, and even if they did they would have no sense of the irony of the situation, but I will say it anyway, simply to remind myself how fortunate I am to have animals to care for, and not expecting anything in return for my efforts. My animals have no idea how fortunate they are to live in my house, and I am perfectly fine with this. There is a Chinese curse, "May you live in interesting times!" We are certainly living in 'interesting' times right now, and we are also living in uncertain times as well. This can be very frustrating and uncomfortable, as we know what we would like to happen, yet it is looking more and more as if what we are expecting and what we will be getting are two different things. We here at Spirit of Truth Ministry have been studying the differences between the prophecies of the Life Road and the Death Road, as a function of what we are going through right now in our lives. Expectations are that we will not experience the horror and distress of the events of Revelation that we see in most of prophecies in this book, yet what we see in 'real life' is that it is clear that the set up for these fulfilments is happening as we watch events unfold. But what looks to be real can be much different that what actually IS real. And there is the irony of the situation. We KNOW that the time for the events of Revelation has come and gone, so that what we are seeing is a fiction and not what is real. We cannot yet see the peace and prosperity that are the future for the world, but it is there. And THAT is the difference.
