I've Got a Secret~ It was common in the years of my growing up that families would watch TV together. In the 1950's and '60's children  were NEVER allowed to watch TV by themselves, and in our family the siblings were only allowed to watch TV together by permission. This was strictly enforced. My parents favorite shows (that we children were allowed to watch with them) were Bonanaza (Sunday night),  The Lawrence Welk Show (Saturday night), and the earliest show that I personally remember was I've Got a Secret, that aired from 1952 - 1967.  I've Got a Secret was a panel game show that was a spin-off from What's My Line, and involve a panel of four celebrities trying to figure out the secret by asking questions of a contestant The secret was something that was unusual, amazing, embarrasing or humorous.  It was fun family time for our family, which is why I remember it. The playground version of this game was when one friend would say to another friend "I've got a secret, and I'm not telling!" , and would goad, tease, or try to trick their friend into telling them what that secret was. It is fascinating to me that God is playing that same game with humanity, and not very many people know that this is happening, and it really is not a game, but it has been a mystery for centuries, until one person that God called and trained finally decyphered this 'mystery', this 'secret', and made it know to all those that would listen. "But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he is about to sound, then the mystery of God is finished, as He preached to His servants the prophets." Rev.10:7. This mystery is the understanding that has been presented here at Spirit of Truth Ministry since mid August 2020, that shows that we are indeed on the Life Road.

Lay and lie~ My favorite sport now is golf. When I was a young man my favorite sport was snow ski racing, and I did pretty well on the Far West Ski Association circuit. But as I got older the wear and tear on the body got to be too much, and I realized that my dream of going on to the 'big' circuit (Olympic) was just that, a dream, and at age 26 I gave up racing, but continued with recrational skiing for many years.  As I got older (into my 30's) I picked up golf as a sport, and have enjoyed it since then. And even though I no longer play due to a number of physical issues I still love watching golf on TV, and occationally going out with my son and watching he and his friend shoot a round. The primary rule of golf is that you must play the ball where it lays. If you move the ball either accidentally or on purpose in order (by rule) to improve your lie you are assessed a one to two stroke penalty, based on the situation. But this can be problematic especially for a high handicap golfer, that sometimes feels that this rule should only be for competitive golf, and not for the occasional player. This is because adding penalty strokes to an already high score seems unfair to many golfers. I have played with golfers that would try to change the position of the ball without notifying the other players, in an attempt to shoot a lower score and win the match. This is called cheating. In our spiritual lives we all must 'play the ball where it lays', such that we recognize a spiritual deficiency and correct it. This is self-honesty, and is the first step toward righteousness. But many people believe that there is nothing wrong with believing a lie as if it is the truth, thinking that this will improve their 'lie', and fool God into believing that they are worthy of salvation, when all the are doing is cheating on the score card in hopes of winning salvation. A lie is never truth.

What you see is not what you get~ Have you ever wondered how an expert at anything makes it (whatever 'it' is) seem so easy? Every area of endeavor has secrets that make the skill to do it seem easy. Most of these things are not easy, they just seem so because the person doing them has made the effort to aquire the skills necessary to do the job efficiently and with consumate skill. Would you fly in a commercial airliner with a pilot that did not have the certified skills and knowledge to do the job? Of course not. Would you go into a complex surgery and let a second year medical student wield the scalpel? I don't thing so. It is not just knowing how to do 'it'', it is  having the knowledge, understanding and wisdom to be able to accomplish the desired result in such a way that shows others the confidence that it takes for you to trust them with your life. Now I understand that many things we need help doing in life don't require this lever of commitment, because it may not be a life or death situation.  But for example is you get your tires rotated and the mechanic forgets to torque the lug nuts properly you could be hurt is a wheel comes off the car at speed. Little things matter! Right now we are going through a time in the life of America (and indeed the world) where perceptions even of little things matter dearly to "Our lives, our fortunes, and our sacred honor!" What we see in the news is not always what we get in real life. There are secrets that shall be made clear in time that make us nervous for the outcome that we desire, that we have seen in prophecy but do not right now see in the real world. Trust in the outcome is based upon the fact that God has a plan, and will see to the fulfilment of that plan in spite of every effort of Satan the thwart it.  God has a 'secret intention' that He will reveal at the right time, soon.

Perseverance~ In 1941 Winston Churchill, the Prime Minister of England, gave and address at the Harrow School after the darkest time in Englands history to that point, the end of which became one of his most famous quotes of all time: "Never give in. Never give in. Never, never, never, never -- in nothing, great or small, large or petty -- never give in". Even at that time the jury was still out as to whether England would be able to survive the German onslought, and no one knew the outcome.  Today, we seem to be in the same situation with respect to whether the United States of America, and indeed the world, can survive the machinations of what the Left and the current 'President' are doing to destabilize the political and economic identity created by Donald Trump over the past four years. It is for this reason that we not only need patience, but also that same perseverance shown by England in their 'darkest hour'. Patience implies waiting, perseverance implies action. But wouldn't it be nice if we knew the outcome before the fact rather than after? This would make the waiting and even the action much less stressful, and actually exciting in knowing the end from the beginning. THAT is what prophecy does when the understanding of time specific prophecy becomes clear. It is for this reason that having the understanding of the prophecy of the Seven Thunders in Revelation 10 has such significance, and has made such a difference to the perseverance factor in those that have insight and understanding. Everything you now see in the political world is simply theater, because the decision has already been made in favor of the Life Road prophecies, instead of the Death Road outcome that Satan is so sure will occur, that would have put the world squarely in his hands. This will never happen. So do not dispare. "Never give up, and never give in!"

Will of God~ When someone mentions a Will many of us think of that thing that defines what we want to occur after our death; disbursment of funds, property, and the like, to those we hold dear. This 'Will' is most often a legal document laid down with the assistance of an Attorney at Law, althought an attested document on a napkin has sufficed for this purpose. What makes this kind of document binding is the fact that the author has to be dead in order for the document to gain the force of Law. This can be problematic for the person that writes the will, because they are never around to witness whether their instructions have been fully carried out. Believe it or not Jesus, the Son of God, wrote a Will; a document that was available for everyone in His Kingdom to read, that expressed His Will for His people. This document contains the instructions that His Kingdom needed to accomplish in order to establish that Kingdom of the Heavens on the earth, which was witnessed by His Father, and countersigned by His Mother, the Holy Spirit. When the Kingdom of God refused to accomplish the requirements of this Will (given two chances) God sent His own Son to the earth for the purpose of encouraging His Kingdom to obey that Will, which they did not. So God, using the force of His Law, executed His own Son in order to give Lawful weight to His Will, and established a Kingdom that "would produce the fruit of it" (Matt. 21:43). Jesus died in order to pay the penalty for the disobedience of His Kingdom against His Will, His final and last Testimony, so those in the world that would OBEY that Will would be able to have eternal life by entering His Kingdom. The Testimony of Jesus, and His Commandments (Rev. 12:17) gained the force of Law as a legal and binding document upon His death. Yet the grave could not hold Him, ane He resurrected to see the fulfiment of the Law in His New Kingdom.

Sun Tzu~ The Art of War by Sun Tzu is being cited by the Right in demonstration of what Donald J. Trump is doing to the 'enemy' in order to not just win a battle, but to win a war. And on of the most prominent citations is one that says that to win over the enemy you must make him believe that you are weak, when you are strong. We can see this playing out right now in the fact that it appears to the Left that President Trump has run from the field of battle (Washington DC) and is now cowering in Florida, licking his wounds and waiting for his Impeachment trial in the Senate to begin. There is nothing that is further from the truth. We will not discuss why this is true here and now, but suffice it to say that Donald J. Trump is practicing this part of the Art of War to the fullest. I find it interesting that Jesus did the same thing to the same enemy when He was in battle here on this earth. Satan and his minions (the leadership of the Jews) thought they had Jesus cornered and defeated, because they were able to put him on the crioss and kill him. What they didn't realize is that it was not them that put Him to death, it was His own Father that sacrificed Jesus His Son to pay the penalty of death placed upon His own Kingdom when Adam and Eve truned that very Kingdom over to Satan, and removed that penalty from that Kingdom as long as they "Keep the commandments of God, and hold to the testimony of Jesus" (Rev. 12:17). Satan thought he had won the war between himself and the Father, when in fact he had lost more than he had ever hoped to gain when Jesus resurrected from the dead, and proved once and for all that "God Wins!" God has a plan for everything, and Satan is hell-bent on seeing to it that God is defeated. This will not happen, because the people of earth by a large margin have chosen the Life Road over the Death Road, and will see the fruition of that choice soon.

No Worries Mate~ One of the most fun movies of 1986 was the action/comedy "Crocodile" Dundee. The lead role was played by Austrailian actor Paul Hogan, and was based on the true story of Rod Ansell. One of the iconic lines in the movie was spoken by Mick Dundee whenever situations were looking impossible for our hero and his copatriots to survive, and was said in his laconic and laid-back voice, "No worries, mate". Then Mick would solve the situation and win the day. The situation in Washington D.C. these days appear to be desperate for the Right. A 'President' has been inaugerated that by all accounts will ruin everything that Donald J. Trump did to improve the country and the world,  The situation appears to truely be desperate, with no positive outcome in sight. Biden has signed multiple EO's (executive orders) that will dismantle many of the good things that have been done for America, simply to spite the person that did them, and the people that benefited from them. And to cap it all off the 'President' has unceremoniously through the National Guard out of Washington D.C., with no place for them to go, because the logistic train has not been put in place to care for them. Many of our Citizen soldiers are no 'camped out' in parking garages, in the cold, waiting fot that 'train' to catch up with them.  Things are looiking desperate. Jesus has the answer for situation such as this, just as He had for the sitation His disciples faced after His death on the cross, when they were hiding in the upper room waiting to be arrested by the Sanhedrin.  ". . .  and when the doors were shut where the disciples were, for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in their midst and *said to them, "Peace be with you." John 20:19.

Happy Anniversary~ Today is the 27th Anniversity of the start of the bible study class that was presented at church by Rick Sterling, that eventually became Spirit of Truth Ministry. Our radio program began on TalkShoe in 2005, and we moved to Blog Talk Radio and had our first program here on August 8, 2007. As of today this will be eposide number 1219, and I can speak for everyone here at Spirit of Truth Ministry in saying that none of us expected to still be here on earth today. We expected to be in heaven by now, as the 7th Trumpet was scheduled to sound on September 28, 2019. Yet here we are, and if you have been listening since August 14, 2020 you will know why. We here at Spirit of Truth Ministry want to thank our listeners for sticking with us as we have gone through the process of understanding why God delayed their coming, that will allow millions more people to enter the Kingdom of Heaven before the final judgement occurs. We hope you will continue to join us every Friday and Saturday at 10 AM, as we learn together how and why we are still here on earth, and what will need to happen in the USA and on earth before we can all be at home together on the earth made new. Join us today for continued learning and growing in Truth.
