The Tsugaru Strait connects the Sea of Japan with the Pacific Ocean between Honshu and Hokkaido in northern Japan.  Swimmer Ion Lazarenco from Bray in County Wicklow is making his final preparations to swim the Strait on the 25th of July.  He talks to Dom about the challenges ahead.

40 young people recently took part in a 220 mile Border Walk.  Organised by Youth With A Mission Ireland, the initiative aims to build healing and reconciliation on the island of Ireland.  The 18 day trek started at at Rostrevor, County Down and finished in Derry/Londonderry.
