When Moses went up to the mountain, in Exodus chapter seventeen, he went up there with a God-designed purpose. He wanted the people to catch the vision of the Lord working on their behalf. You were made for more than what your mistakes set you up for. Dr. Victor Torres shares, “I'm a seventh-grade dropout because of addiction. When I got saved, God gave back what I lost and more. I was accepted into college, and they gave me a doctorate degree. If anybody would have told me when I was in jail, living a life of no hope, that I would accomplish anything -- it would have been an impossibility. But God call me for more. And He has a purpose for your life.”

You can overcome your personal enemies, overcome the biggest trials in life. You can also live for Jesus with no compromise. When your faith in God becomes a personal faith, then God becomes a personal God to you.

God wants to expand your life. God wants to take you to greater horizons. He's waiting for you to cut loose and praise Him. God's promises to His people is one of hope and not defeat. And you know that Jesus is the hope of glory.
