In this episode we are going to speak with Liza Lovett. She is a Christian speaker, author and founder of The Warriors Community. She was involved in a Christian cult for 6 years and now, she helps people who have experienced religious abuse find healing in their relationship with God instead of deconstructing their faith by sharing the truth, freedom and love of God. She has been to over 25 countries doing mission work, mostly with women who were abused or trafficked. She has served with a non-profit for trafficked or exploited women - in different capacities for three years. She speaks at churches, conferences, small groups, and other events about awareness of cultish environments, what your rights are, but most of all about processing and healing in partnership with God. She has published a short story called Whispers of the Lake - based on a true story of a woman tormented by memories of past abuse. After contemplating suicide, she has a God encounter that changes her life. You don't want to miss this interview.

In this episode we are going to look at Faith. Faith is a part of your armor. It is a shield that you hold up to quench the fiery darts of the wicked. In Ephesian 6:16 it says, Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. This makes this piece of armor very important. Try deflecting arrows without a shield. The shield is used to put up and protect you from the fiery darts and the lies thrown by the enemy. Satan is the great doubter and will try to create doubt in your mind. Paul compares this doubt to fiery darts; ever just been sitting there and then all of a sudden, ungodly thoughts enter your mind for no apparent reason; hello Satan. There is no scripture that says Satan can read our mind but he can influence your mind. When this happens, we need to put our faith in God. The devil attacks our faith. If we lack faith or question our faith the devil will convince us that we have knowledge and that we can logically figure things out and we lose our faith. We must have the shield of faith. Be strong in your faith. You don’t want to skip this episode!

In this episode we are going to look at the footwear; standing our ground, mobility and the gospel of peace. As it says in Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ. When we have peace with God we can stand and face anything. The shoes/boots allowed the soldier mobility so they could move in the heat of the battle. When Paul says stand, he doesn’t mean stand still he means stand so you may be able to move and fight the enemy. We will look at Ehp 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation (readiness) of the gospel of peace; Ready to fight for what we know is true, Ready for His kingdom to be advanced, Readiness implies that when we wait on the Lord we wait ACTIVELY and not PASSIVELY, Ready to share the truth with anyone God puts in our paths, Ready to flee something or someplace that shouldn’t be, Assume the ready stance.  We unpack a lot of information in this episode about the footwear and the Gospel of Peace.
