How are we leading people in worship who suffer from abuse, namely, spiritual?
Churches should be places of sanctuary and refuge, but for many, they can become sites of spiritual abuse. Spiritual abuse is a severe problem primarily hidden, with those in authority using their position to manipulate, control, and even harm those within the congregation.
As worship leaders, what can we do to get out from behind the music and get in front of helping people who have been spiritually abused?
