True abiding happiness comes from within because everything external changes. Circumstances may not change for the better, but you change for the better because you become a willing participant in life. We become willing when we become still and the ego stops negotiating. Disruptions to our plans are not punishment, they are openings to something higher and better. When adversity arises, meditate rather than mediate and look for the gifts.

Time is the enemy of the ego and an ally to the Soul. Time reveals the greater purpose for an experience. Time helps you cultivate maturity and worthiness. Your choices determine how direct or circuitous your path will be. Be ready. Your participation is necessary but exhaustive effort is not required – we just need to agree with the Universe.

We often feel bad about our happiness because of the unhappiness others may feel. When we shift from ego to Soul our light shines and raises the energy for all involved. The discovery of the inherent well-being of our true nature is ongoing. We do not need to dissolve darkness; we only need to shine. Breath is the living presence of well-being.

Blame is a projection of unhappiness. We don’t recognize our unhappiness because we don’t know how to be happy, and we project blame onto the outside world. Change and loss are how life evolves us out of ego and into alignment with our soul. Saying thank you for this gift in every situation releases attachment to the unconscious action of others and frees us emotionally.

The things that happen are exactly what we need for our own evolution, which means that you have done nothing wrong. The spiritual journey is a transition out of the ego and into the soul. We can choose to see from the ego’s perspective or our soul’s perspective. Ego will blame while the soul will rejoice in the opportunity. Raising your vibration gives you a useful amount of space between you and your external experiences so you can make better choices.

Remember that time you wanted something, and it just showed up “out of the blue” and you were surprised and called it a miracle? It was really a result of your work in dissolving your sense of separation from God’s Presence, but we miss that part because we can’t see it working.
