Spiritual Living With Francois Fineberg

You are either ignorant at best, or deceived at worst, thinking that you have innately what it takes to live out the Christian life as described within the New Testament. (If you could have lived the Christian life, you would have by now!) No, the New Testament emphasis is not on the capabilities of your flesh, but on the supply that comes from God. God Alone is the fuel of the spiritual life.

Many of Francois' messages are delivered within the context of a spiritual formation school called, LEGACY School Of Discipleship. The emphasis of the school is to be trained within the realities of the accomplished work of Jesus Christ.

Although Genesis 2 gives us an interpretation of the Tree Of The Knowledge Of Good And Evil, it does not give us an interpretation of the Tree Of Life. To understand the Tree Of Life requires a comprehension of the full redemptive process of God through Jesus Christ. Christ Himself is the Tree Of Life!

Life is the central and foremost reality of the nature of God. Life is not something God does–life is Who God is! Life is not some aspect (characteristic) of some of God; life is the intrinsic nature of every Person in the Godhead.

• The nature of God as Father is life. (John 5:26a; 6:57a; Acts 17:25; 1 Tim. 6:16; Heb. 10:31)

• The nature of God as Christ is life. (John 1:4; 5:21, 26b; 6:35; 10:10; 11:25; 14:6; Acts 3:15; Col. 3:4a; Heb. 7:3; 1 John 4:9; 5:11-13)

• The nature of God as Spirit is life. (John 6:63; Rom. 8:2; 1 Co. 15:45b; 2 Co. 3:6b)

It is the burden of God to have an expression in this earth. God’s heart is a congruency between the heavenly and the earthly, between the supernatural and the natural, between the eternal and the temporal. Man is to bring about that congruency. Man is to be an expression of the invisible God in the here and now.

There's a very basic internal calibration that has to occur within a believer if he is to really live the Christian life as God intended. He will have to learn that God is the Giver of everything pertaining to the Christian life, and that he is merely the receiver. It cannot be the other way around.
