In this episode, I got the opportunity to interview Gela Wilhelm, a Kundalini Yoga teacher and Amanae Bodywork practitioner based in Tilburg, The Netherlands. I’ve been a participant in Gela’s yoga class for a few years now and I loved to have the chance to ask the questions I’ve been wondering about for a while. Among other things we talk about:

In this episode of the Spiritual Sluts podcast, we are discussing the topic of drugs. Each of us had a very different starting point regarding drugs (my experience with them being next to zero). So, in preparation for this episode, we decided to experiment a little together. You know, just for science. 

In this episode, we share the results of our experiment as well as:

·      What we learned about drugs growing up 

·      The war on drugs and different approaches to drug regulation in different countries

·      Ron’s drug initiation

·      Drugs as a pathway to spiritual development and healing

·      Trying to put the Psilocybin trip into words

·      What this experience is revealing to us about life 

Of course, we also want to highlight that psychedelic drugs can be deeply destabilising for some people. Before experimenting with any kind of drugs, inform yourself well and check your sources. Make sure you are in the right mindset, that you are in a safe, comfortable physical environment, in which you feel supported by the people you are with. Also ask yourself what it is that you would like to get out of the experience and if you actually might be needing something else. Be safe and have fun!

Ron was still lost somewhere in South America, so I took the chance to interview my friend Edward Rijkers. Edward is an artist based in the Netherlands who discovered Tai-Chi a couple of years ago.  I was immediately intrigued when he shared how his Tai-Chi practice has impacted different aspects of his life, so I had to invite him to join the Spiritual Sluts conversation.  Among other things, we talk in this episode about:

Episode 6 is out! And this one is a very special one because we have an intro from Ron reporting all the way from Buenos Aires, AND our very first guest, osteopath Paula Klisiewicz. In this episode, I interview Paula about osteopathy and we take a deep dive into:

We had quite a few laughs recording this episode! You wouldn’t particularly expect that, looking at the title. This time we met in Marseille during New Year’s Eve, so of course we discussed our new year’s resolutions. We then discussed the passing of time and what we ultimately encounter at the end of it: death.
