Have you ever prayed, opened your Bible, or worshipped but still felt far away from God?

Spiritual dryness can make you question whether God has forgotten you. However, your feelings do not determine His presence. Even when you cannot feel Him, God is near, listening, and working.
In this five-minute episode, you will receive biblical encouragement, a simple reflection, a practical faith step, and a heartfelt prayer to help you trust God during spiritually dry seasons.
Take five quiet minutes to pause, receive God’s Word, and remember: God has not left you.

  • When God Closes a Door: A Powerful Christian Motivational Story About Trusting God
In this powerful Christian motivational story, Grace experiences rejection after praying and preparing for the job she believed was meant for her. Although she cannot understand God’s answer, she eventually discovers that the closed door was not rejection—it was God’s protection and redirection.
Sometimes, God closes a good door because He is leading us towards something better. His “no” does not mean He has forgotten you. He may be protecting you from something you cannot see or guiding you into a purpose you have not yet discovered.
“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” — Proverbs 3:5–6
If you are facing disappointment, rejection, or an unexpected change of direction, this story will encourage you to keep praying, preparing, and trusting God.

  • The Harvest is plentiful
    Scripture:
"Then he said to his disciples, 'The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.'" (Matthew 9:37-38, KJV)
In these verses, Jesus looks out at the multitudes of people who are weary, scattered, and in need of direction. He likens them to a field ripe for harvest, full of potential, ready to be gathered in. However, there is a problem: while the harvest is abundant, the workers are few.

  • Spiritual Warfare : The offensive and defensive weapons
We look at what is spiritual warfare.
Spiritual warfare is a battle that takes place in the spiritual realm between invisible angelic forces that manifest in the visible physical realm, which affects us.
Spiritual warfare can be classified into two categories: offensive and defensive.
Offensive warfare involves tearing down the strongholds that the enemy has formed in your mind through deception and accusations.
Defensive warfare involves guarding yourself against the tactics or schemes of the devil.

  • The War Within Us - The Battle Between The Flesh and the Spirit
Life is a constant battle between right and wrong or between the flesh and the spirit. I have often found myself trying to do right but end up doing wrong, to which I repent quickly.
It reminds me of when Paul said in Romans 7:15-20, “I don’t understand myself, for I want to do what is right, but I don’t do it. Instead, I do what I hate. But if I know that what I am doing is wrong, this shows that I agree that the law is good. So I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.
And I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. I want to do what is right, but I can’t. I want to do what is good, but I don’t. I don’t want to do what is wrong, but I do it anyway. But if I do what I don’t want to do, I am not the one doing wrong; it is sin living in me that does it.”
It, therefore, illustrates the importance of daily feeding our spirit with the word of God so we will be able to conquer our fleshly desires.

  • The Importance of Walking in Humility
We live in a world than often use self- promotion over humility.
However, humility is a catalyst for personal growth and development.
Some see humility as a weaknesses. However, one thing I have learn is when you have humility you are walking in wisdom
You see humility brings you peace,
Gives you freedom and self love,
It helps you to have genuine love for others.
And It builds trust and inspires loyalty.
It is important to cultivate and walk in humility because it can foster positive change in our lives and in the world around us.
Our scripture text is taken from: 2 Kings 5:1-16
The story of Naaman, who was a leper.
We look at how he was able to be healed because of his humility.
