On this week's episode, I discuss making people and things idols and how we worship them. We spend too much time seeking outside ourselves for a special something. Beau reads from his often quoted 'A Course in miracles' for the first time. 'Spiritually drunk' moment of the week has Beau definitely seeking outside himself for something and someone special.

On this episode Beau discusses why 'I' is the problem. "It's your own best thinking that got you here" and what that actually means. Why we think we know better but can't seem to do better. Beau explains why we need to get into action that is guided by someone other than ourselves. If you have a surface level area of your life that occupies a lot of your thinking yet the results don't ever seem to add up. Maybe 'I' (you) doesn't know what it needs. Maybe it's time to enlist the help of a guide, coach, sponsor, or support group to help you figure out the plan that you clearly may not have.

This week Beau discusses being in a hurry. He opens the episode with a shout out to his first fan email. Driving is a great area one can watch how the false idea of needing to be in a hurry to be somewhere can come in. Beau gives an example of 25 in a 35 and the person who's gotta go and doesn't have time at 1pm on a Tuesday. We hear a great article explaining why being in a hurry is absolutely 'spiritually drunk'. Slow down, breathe, and remember...you have already arrived at where you think you need to get.
