In this episode I share what I feel like my calling is where we live right now. I feel like I am called to serve in a way that will develop a love for all people, no matter the differences, cultures, or backgrounds. 

I hope to see the good no matter where I am living. I want to offer and contribute more love, service, and talents to my area and phase in my life rather than waiting for the area to give me that. 

My call to serve is how I want to see where I live and who I want to be right now. :)

In this episode, my husband and I share an experience of how to do our best to come together rather than find the fault in one another. 

I hope that we can all understand that even if we are different we can see the good and know that it’s ok to think the way we do. Perhaps it is wrong to some but I believe we are all humans trying to do our best in a world sometimes filled with confusion and the adversary.

In this episode I share how a wonderful scripture study with my family helped me remember a great key point. Jesus Christ suffered for our sins. He endured the hardest physical and spiritual pain. Because of that, we don't have to bear EVERYTHING. If we repent, follow Him and His commandments He will carry that difficult load. We can choose to have a willing heart and turn to Him for that support and love we need when the pain is too hard. 

In this episode I share how I want the right reasons and principles to influence the way I am homeschooling. I share an experience where I needed comfort from my Father in Heaven after a difficult day of teaching "all the things." 

I received comfort and peace knowing that when I involve Heavenly Father and love in teaching or parenting, I can teach or parent in a way where I feel less stressed. 

As long as I am teaching with my heart I know I can provide the best for the children I have been blessed with.

They are just as much a teacher to me as I am to them.

In this episode I share the peace I have when I turn my heart and thoughts to my Savior. He is pure peace.

Even just pouring our hearts out to Him in prayer, He will light the darkest nights, He will calm a troubled heart and thought.

I am so grateful that the spirit impressed upon my thoughts to remind myself that I don’t have to do all the hard stuff or easy stuff on my own.

I can turn to Jesus Christ for safety, comfort, love, and open up to Him on what I am thinking.

We are blessed to be using our agency. Yet, agency isn’t for us to do everything on our own. Our Savior hopes we can turn to Him for direction and example. Our Father in Heaven desires us to pray to Him to share our thoughts and concerns, as well as direction.

In this episode I share an experience where I found myself impatient with some of the everyday areas of my life.

I want to recognize that all of us do things differently, but I want to show up with more understanding and kindness.

I am so grateful for the prayers I have had in my thoughts and heart on having more patience with my family and with my habits of thinking on the ways things “should” be.

My whole goal is to practice patience and be graceful with myself. I’m not always going to be perfect at it, but I hope to recognize and question areas that I feel like I am impatient in.

In this episode I share how a lot of the spiritual promptings we receive are directly for us. Sometimes we are hoping that we can give that direct prompting to someone else hoping it would better them. 

How about we work on bettering ourselves before needing to make that change with someone we love. Let's love and understand we are all human trying to make it in the world.
