It's been a crazy year for the Spitball Sessions crew, and that means that unfortunately we haven't had a chance to do much for the site. But we still wanted to get together to do our Game of the Year awards for 2019.
I'd like to apologize to any fans for the site going dormant for the last year. But just like any good hibernation, we came back with an absolutely massive episode for you. It clocks in at 3 hours, but we've used our special distillation process to pack in as much pomp, circumstance, magic, mystery, insight, and humor as you'd get in a normal 6 hour podcast.
Thrill as we discuss categories like "Biggest disappointments" and "Best Non-Game Thing". Chill as we discuss "Best -vania that isn't a -vania" and "Dumbest Non-troversy". Spill as we discuss the " Neir: Automata honorary award for use of Physics, sponsored by Mai Shiranui’s Cheesecake Academy" and " Fishiest Game". And just enjoy as we discuss "Game I Most Enjoyed Not Playing", "Biggest Surprise" and, of course, our top 3 Games of the Year!
So, without any further ado - Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children and dogs of all ages. Step right up, hurry hurry hurry - grab you drink of choice, grab a friend, grab a joystick, and please enjoy our GOTY special. And, again, thank you for all of your patience with us over the last... well, since we've started, really.
