Actor Charles Laughton's first and only directorial effort, Night of the Hunter (1955) follows a mysterious preacher with "LOVE" and "HATE" knuckle tattoos, looking for $10,000 hidden in a little girl's doll. Reel Rap puts on their best southern accents to dig into the strange Gothic fantasia and rate the Bible an 8 out of 10. Cinesthesia tackles the first King adaptation written under his pen name Richard Bachman. Jim finds a new love in this dumb smart movie with a terrible title, unlike Romper Stomper, which is a terrible movie with a great title; he also pitches a movie in a smallternate universe. In The Running Man Arnold Schwarzenegger runs through a death gauntlet reality TV game show in a dystopian America. Packed with atrociously bad action movie lines, the film conveys everything with just visuals and sound effects.

Predictable werewolves and alcoholic uncles fuel Dan Attias' 1985 adaptation of King's Cycle of the Werewolf. A Stephen King calendar turned into a possibly ghost-directed Don Coscarelli film, Gary Busey delightfully stomps around and rides dirt bike wheelchairs and Jason deals with a mysterious carpet cleaner straight out of a King novel.
