Three teenagers from Sioux City are being held at Fresno County Jail in California on a bond of $1 million each. They’re charged with the death of a California man authorities say they planned to rob after communicating with one of the teens online. The Nebraska Supreme Court has upheld the conviction and lengthy sentence of a northeastern Nebraska woman who killed her 4-year-old daughter. Carla Montoya was sentenced a year-and-a-half ago to 55 to 75 years in prison for intentional child abuse resulting in death. Montoya told police she repeatedly threw her daughter, Caylee, onto a bed on March 12, 2016, and that the girl may have hit her head on the bed frame or a wall. Dame Evelyn Glennie is a Scottish percussionist who experienced hearing loss as a child. “This is a woman who has not only carved out her own career as the first solo percussionist in history. A fourth Republican challenger has thrown his hat into the ring to unseat Iowa Republican Congressman Steve King from Iowa’s 4 th Congressional District. Steve Reeder is a commercial real estate broker from Arnolds Park.
