So I'm pretty stoked that it looks like this show is evolving into a show about female friendship instead of just a woman who is on the edge and making crazy decisions totally based on the men in her life. I'm extremely interested in this line of development, especially vis a vis fucking HEATHER of all people being Miss Douche.
There is so much good shit this episode, and it's kind of hard to know where to begin, but the thing that resonated for me the most was Paula getting an abortion. She's making the right decision and I just can't wait to see her in school. YAY!

This book is getting into some time-travel stuff and I'm super interested because I'm covering so many different properties that deal with time travel, and all in totally different ways. I'm really interested in seeing what it's like in this book!
Also I'm weirdly proud of Nita for making friends in Bray in these chapters. I confess that I was a little worried about her, and I didn't know what she'd be like with strangers because frankly we haven't gotten a chance to see her around many of them, but she handles herself really well and makes some new buddies. Good for her!

I went into this final section with no real idea how the book could end and still be satisfying. And the truth is, there is plenty about it that isn't satisfying because it's not meant to be. I'm really kind of stunned at the turn things took in these final chapters because I already hated Marc so much, and I didn't think it could get worse.
The tragedy of this ending, despite the hopefulness of it.
Ugh.
