These chapters, we get more of a look at Tessia and her training, which proves her to be really powerful and in better control than Jayan was within the same amount of time. So he's a little salty, and I'm over here waiting for him to realize that maybe he's a little in love with Tessia because that seems like it's coming.

This is the start of a new story set in the same world as Sabriel, and it follows nearly 15 years after the events of the previous book. There's a lot of mystery surrounding just who Lirael is, and I'm of course low-key wanting her to be related to Sabriel in some way.
Meanwhile, there's some new torment on the horizon, as a dude surfaces who apparently can harness a dark power even stronger than Kerrigor's. Me no lilkey.

So this episode was...well, it was what it was. It's unfortunate that a show which had handled an issue of transgender people so well in the beginning of the first season had to backslide like this, and I kind of talk about that for a minute. Because this wasn't great.
Otherwise, I'm really interested in how the PCHers are going to respond to Weevil setting up Thumper, and I'm also eager to find out what kind of dirt Keith winds up uncovering to defend Jackie's dad. But for the record, I'm still not prepared to like Jackie.

I'm super into this show, and I'm not afraid to show it. These episodes are about Mabel and Dipper's love lives, respectively. Mabel, as usual, has a lot more going on in that area than Dipper, but she's not always happy about it. Gideon is a pure nightmare.
And then there's Wendy, who is a totally worthy candidate for Dipper to crush on, and I definitely approve. I want them to grow up and realize what's been in front of them the whole time.

The only thing I still feel confident on is that Mikkel and Jonas's father Michael are the same person, although I don't really want to believe it because that means that Mikkel never gets home. I hate that.
I'm so confused about this stranger staying in the hotel, hovering around Jonas and fucking around with his map and stuff. I really don't know what to make of him. Is that Mads? Perhaps?

This episode is probably the most confused I've been while reading any of the Witcher books, and I try so hard to puzzle it out while I record, but I don't think I'm very successful. Poor Melanie messaged me after this episode wrapped, worried about whether I wanted to continue, but I felt better after she informed me there are multiple Reddit threads trying to puzzle out wtf happened at the end of the chapter.
I'm going to try to be a little bit less analytical in the coming chapters, because I've been advised that due to both the translation and the non-linear format, there are some things that it's best to let just wash over me rather than try to figure it out as I go along.
