Genesis 1:1–2:4
Matthew 28:16–20


Today we hear of God creating and making out of nothing but the power of His voice. We hear the actions of God from the very beginning. He orders, He creates and He gives intentions for everything He makes. 

Notice even though He made everything out of just the power of His voice, God chooses to form out of the ground humans. After making people, God invites them to reflect Himself. To be fruitful and to multiply Both in the power of creation and in his mission and purpose for creation. Hear this same identity echoed in Jesus’ words, of who you are as His disciples. 

What do you do with the identity and power given to you to reflect God?
