Spooky Dudes Podcast

This week we review the 2020 Shudder exclusive found footage flick "Host." The film was directed by Rob Savage. The entirety of the film takes place during a Zoom call between 6 friends and a medium they've hired to help them conduct a seance (during the current global pandemic). There are some super tense moments and some fantastic jump scares here. Check it out on Shudder if you want to follow along with us!

This week we review the 1990 direct-to-video sci-fi slasher "Crash and Burn" The film was directed by Charles Band. The poster will get you excited about giant mechs, and there is one in the film, but that's not what it's all about. This is a sort of sci-fi slasher with some really cool effects and that classic Full Moon/Empire vibe. If you dig Full Moon Features...you'll love it! Check it out on Tubi if you want to follow along with us!

This episode was going to be a Patreon-exclusive, but we felt like it would be cool to share the joy of horror with all of you faithful listeners! We were joined by Jeff from Fistful of Action Podcast and Richard from Palaver Podcasts. We just keep bringing these dudes back! We had an awesome time discussing the horror films that make us happy. Some of them have dark subject matter, but for some reason they always make us smile. It's dark times out there so we figured this was a timely subject to discuss and we hope you enjoy it!
