How in the world can anything to do with spooky, weeping, hungry poverty bring you any encouragement? That’s a fair question. But in this Rhyme and Reason Podcast I share the fuller message behind why I’m using these words. It’s a message full of hope, and with everything going on in this world, maybe you could use some more hope.

If you look around you and see a world where there’s a lot of weeping…Or a word full of spooky, unexplainable things going on and on. Or you see the news (or read it online) where there are so many hungry, poverty-stricken people…you may find yourself doubting there will ever be relief.

The sad truth is, for most, there won’t be much relief in this life, AND, they won’t experience any relief for all of eternity. But that doesn’t have to happen for anyone. It’s a matter of choice. I know I harp on this a lot, but it’s a distinction no one can afford to miss. Your final, and eternal, destination rides on your choice.

Here’s the hope I’d like to share with you. If you choose LIFE…if you choose to believe that Jesus is the source of eternal life for you…your eternal destination will be Heaven. And all the spooky, weepy, hungry, poverty, and countless troubles of this world will turn to glory, laughing, fullness. You’ll never experience those again because you’ll be in the house of the Lord forever.
