The callers cookout is back tonight and we have a TON of things to discuss. Everything from the NBA inaugural season tournement, to the Pistons losing streek. The Los Angeles Dodgers won the "Shohei Ohtani" sweepstakes, the Yankees get another bat by trading for Juan Soto,  and the Pirates bring back Andrew McCutchen as the MLB offseason heats up. On the football field the state of Pennsylvania are currently 0-6 combined. That's to be expected at this stage of the season with the Steelers, but the Eagles late season struggles are something to discuss. 

The NFL playoff race is getting more wild by the week. On the AFC side, there's 4 teams currently sitting at 8-6 and a few teams sitting at 7-7 that are stil in the playoff picture. On the NFC side, there's there's 4 yeams currently sitting at 7-7 and a few teams sitting at 6-8 that are still in the hunt. With 3 games left in the regular season who gets those last few playoff spots.

The NFL front office show is back after a week away, and good grief do we have a TON of NFL dishes to cook. The NFL playoff picture has got more jumbled up sicne we last opned these doors. On the AFC side we've got 6 teams sitting at 7-6, the Chiefs on a 2 game losing streak, and the only the New England Patriots being the only team that's been mathmatically elliminated from postseason contention. On the NFC side there's 5 teams with a 6-7 record and Carolina Panthers beiing the only team that's  mathmatically elliminated from postseason contention. 

On tonights show we're going to speak on the officials lack of consistancy, QB's being injured, and the teams that we have faith in as we come down the home stretch.

As we sit here at the end of November the playoff picture is more blurry than it has been in previous seasons. The Eagles and Ravens are currently sitting at the top of each conferance, but there are SEVERAL teams (on the AFC side of things) that have a legit shot at getting the number 1 seed. On the NFC side things are just as complicated as it pertains to seeting and the battle for the 2nd through the 8th seed. 

Lions lay an egg on Thanksgiving night vs a division opponent, Cowboys make quick work vs their opponent. Steelers offense gets unlocked (going for 400 years for the 1st time in 58 games), and the Vikings go into the bye week with more questions at the QB position, as Josh Doubs turns in his worst performance of the 2023 season. There's so much to unpack join chef Aaron "Serious" Simmons and the rest of the chefs as we have tons of plates to pass around.

If you've been listening to this network for any length of time you know that Chef Serious is our resident Steelers fan. With the dismissal of Matt Canada, Serious is going to have ALOT to say about this transaction. In addition to Steelers news we will cover the rest of the news and notes from around the NFL. The Jets finally BENCH Zach Wilson in preperation for their division game this Friday vs the Dolphins. Can this move salvage their season, or was it too little too late. Two AFCN teams lose signifigant pieces to their team in week 10 (TE Mark Andrews / Ravens) and (QB Joe Burrow / Bengals). As the playoff opponents get tougher, and the playoff picture starts to take shape how will both teams navigate those rough waters, all the wile preparing next man up.
