Morrow was an icon of Aussie sport calling First Grade Rugby League for 44 years, eight Olympic Games and Six Commonwealth Games. He is well-remembered for his incredible versatility in covering a wide-range of sports, especially Rugby League, Track and Field and Cricket. Some of his memorable calls include
- Mal Menninga's try at the 1990 Manchester Rugby League test against Great Britain
- Sally Pearson's 2012 100m hurdles gold medal.
- Dean Lukin's gold medal lift at the 1984 Olympics.
- Usain Bolt's memorable performances at the 2008 and 2012 Olympics.
- Calling Rugby League for the ABC radio and ABC TV and later with the award winning 2GB Continuous Call team.
Morrow was well-known for his tremendous passion and enthusiasm and could paint a picture with his words. He was greatly admired by his colleagues and the public and will be greatly missed. He was last week inducted into the Rugby League Hall of Fame and is an Order of Australia recipient. A true legend of Australian Sports Broadcasting.
