rediffusion de l'émission du 05 02 2021. Max et Gilles en mix vinyle enregistré en public au bar La Réserve.

Gilles Boudry est un membre ancestral de la station RCV99. Il est l'animateur d'une émission désormais déprogrammée, My Favourite Things. Emission dédiée au jazz dans tous ses états et dans toutes ses mutations. Lors de ses apparitions en ville pour un mix, Gilles sortait sa malle aux trésors et égrainait les beautés vinyles du siècle passé. Ermeto Pascoal, Gary Bartz, Abdullah Ibrahim, nous en parlions ensemble. Ils compte parmi son panthéon. Il les avait vus et croisés au siècle passé, à une époque où le jazz se vivait 100% live et en haute définition. Gilles est aussi un activiste de la programmation : tout d'abord au Tourcoing Jazz Festival, et ensuite au festival Jazz en Nord. Et s'il lit ces mots depuis son Bali de retraite, il faut que Gilles sache qu'il manque à ses copains et que je pense bien à lui.
