Let's look at the top #NHL rookie cards for the games 50 best players. How do hockey cards stack up in value to the other main sports?? Well, they're not there yet, but, I believe they have the most room to grow this upcoming year. With the growth sports cards have enjoyed over the last couple of years, hockey cards have somewhat lagged behind the other sports. Are Upper Deck hockey cards ready for the bright lights? With the #NHL and #ESPN coming to an exclusive multi-year deal, hockey games are going to be broadcast everywhere. I personally cannot help but think this will be good for the hockey card market and their prices. With all the debate over sports card grading, I believe it is necessary to check the sales data of all the companies periodically so we can make decisions as to where to grade our cards. The data used in this video is high level and not meant to be used as specific sales data. Most pricing has stabilized and I believe we are at the new floor. So stop procrastinating and start buying cards again!

As an avid sports card collector and fan of choices and options in life, I have grown pretty tired of people creating content and telling their listeners there is only one or two options to grade cards, buy graded cards, sell graded cards, etc. if you want to make money in the hobby. Well, I decided to look at some cards in my collection and see what their values were last year at this time and what they are currently selling for to see if SGC slabs can retain value on a longer-term basis.
