Football is all about the QB's. Even though football is a team sport, all glory or blame is placed on the quarterback. This is why we buy quarterback cards. They are always in the limelight. Look at whats going on in Dallas. The Dak Prescott contract story makes it seem he's the only player on the team. I was buying Dak Prescott last year, and did 2X on his cards this year with the news of CeeDee Lamb getting drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft. Today we talk about cards that are well priced, and cards that I'm getting into before the market figures it out.

With the sports card market booming, its certain to bring new and old heads back into the market. This podcast briefly discusses players that you could invest in not necessarily from a statistical stand point, but from a speculative and certain one. Speculative meaning investing or buying players that are still playing, and could potentially win some hardware in the near future, and certain being the Hall of Famers like Michael Jordan, and LeBron James. These two types of collecting differ as the "Certain" category are a safer bet when it comes to investment. Think of Jordan as buying shares of Berkshire Hathaway, or Amazon. These are guys that have nothing left to prove. They have achieved the greatness label, and like fine wine with time, the value of their cards trend up. With the speculative side you tend to deal with more risk. As players injuries, and performance can create a range of volatility. With that being said these are going to be players you want to keep a close eye on by watching film, or studying their stats, etc... How you buy and sell is what makes the hobby fun. There are going to be some winners and losers in the hobby, but that is the way with everything in life.
