Hour 2 - The NBA has suspended Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant for 25 games to start the 2023-2024 season due to conduct detrimental to the league. Morant was suspended from team activities on May 14 after a video on social media circulated showing the All-Star brandishing a firearm. 

Rickie Fowler and Xander Schauffele matched the lowest round in major championship history Thursday as both shot 8-under 62 at The Los Angeles Country Club.  8 UNDER.  Isn't this supposed to be the U.S. OPEN?!?

Hour 1 - Tommy hosting this morning, Jacob connecting from vacation in Texas.  And we kick it off with some Chiefs talk on a Sports Daily Friday.

The participants have set out on day 1 and Tournament Media Coordinator Jay Delling gives us a call with a tournament update.

Hour 2 - Tommy and Paul are honored to welcome Kym Carter to Sports Daily and the Wichita Sports Hall of Fame.  Kym was s 1982 All-State Basketball player, Kansas H.S. high jump champion and U.S. high jump record holder while at Wichita East H.S. She also was a 1992 Olympian, American champion in both the pentathlon and the heptathlon, along with two top 10 world rankings in the Heptathlon. 

Chelsa joins us this morning as the U.S. Open is just getting underway.  Tommy and Paul talk golf bets with the pro on a Thursday Sports Daily.

Hour 1 - We kick off another Thursday on Sports Daily getting right to some college basketball and football talk with GoPowercat.com's Tim Fitzgerald.
