Hour 1 - The NFL released the '23-'24 schedule, and the Chiefs draw Miami for the game in Germany.  We kick off a Wednesday with NFL talk on Sports Daily.

Wichita State senior shortstop Sydney McKinney was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 Athletes Unlimited Softball College Draft Monday night. McKinney becomes the first Shocker drafted by Athletes Unlimited in the brief history of the professional league. The organization was established in March 2020 and now has professional leagues in softball, volleyball, basketball and lacrosse.

Hour 2 - Another Wichita Sports Hall of Fame, and another well deserved induction.  Mike Peters is one of the most successful auto racers ever in Wichita. Racing for 60 plus years, starting at the age of five racing quarter midgets, Mike won five Hutchinson National championships, five State Fair Speedway championships and NCRA dirt track and NCRA sprint car championships. Mike passed away in 2018. Accepting on his behalf is 81 Speedway's Warren Hardy.
