I had a really candid conversation with Doug Dumas about his career as a disabled athlete, and an advocate for people with disabilities. He talks about the complexity of dealing with multiple health challenges. He also discusses why mentoring young people with disabilities is the most important role he has ever played. He is also the Chairman of the Para High Performance committee with USRowing. We discuss the benefits of adaptive rowing for people with disabilities.
