The start of new season with Sports Law Sage Podcast w/ Tushar Katheria will be with Shaurya Manchanda. Shaurya is working as a Club Secretary at Fleetwood United Football Club in Dubai, UAE. He has a background in Economics and completed his graduation from Ambedkar University, Delhi in 2018. Further, he completed his Masters in Sports Management from the Indian Institute of Sports & Management in 2020. He is a product of ISDE, where he did his Masters in International Sports Law in 2022.
In this episode, we discuss his journey into the sports industry, his experience working within a football club, the planning of the transfer market, the first professional football club of Uttar Pradesh Inter Kashi FC, discussion on State-owned Football Clubs v/s Consortium or American Ownership Model in Football Club, and the re-emergence of Indian Football by winning the international tournaments in Asia.

In #episode18 of the #SportsLawSagePodcast, we have our guest, Mr Islam Hisham who is an International Sports Lawyer from Egypt. He is the Founder and CEO of the Sports and Justice in Cairo. He is also an Arbitrator for the Egyptian Sports Settlement and Dispute Center. Mr Hisham also worked with the AlNassr Football Club from 2019 to 2021 as a Legal Counsel.
Before starting his journey in the Sports Legal Industry, he was working as a Litigation Lawyer and Corporate Lawyer. Mr Hisham had an immense love for sports, as he used to play football at the Amateur Level. He is also a qualified football referee from the Egyptian Football Association. We are glad to have him for our upcoming episode.
