Brett is joined in the first hour of the show by James Boyd, who does a fantastic job covering the Indianapolis Colts for The Athletic. The two preview the upcoming matchup on Saturday between the Colts and the Pittsburgh Steelers who make their way to Lucas Oil Stadium for the game this weekend. We get an idea from James just how important this game against Pittsburgh is, with both teams almost considering this a “playoff” game here in the regular season with both teams having a 7-6 record. Brett asks James just how important it is for the Colts to get their run game going in this game, as it’s been heavily hampered in their last few games. Brett also asks how the defenses of opposing teams are lining up against the Colts and what Indy can do in order to counteract it. Also in the first hour of the show, Brett remembers the life of George McGinnis, a legend of basketball in the state of Indiana, who we unfortunately lost today. And on the topic of George, Brett asks our listeners who they would put on their “Mount Rushmore” of HS Basketball players in Indiana. Also, the Pacers lost to the Bucks last night, and there was quite a scuffle after the game over a game ball!
