Pastor Jalila Abdul-Brown of Shiloh Temple talks to Mike Max about the state of MPLS.  She breaks down some of the neighborhoods and how some are hurting a lot more than others.  She also talks about a program she is involved in that works out of the hospital when someone gets shot, stabbed, or assaulted.  They are then helped to relocated if need be, get medical help, etc.

Don Lucia, former Gopher’s hockey coach is back in hockey.  He will be the new commissioner of the CCHA

Abe Wolderslassie is the head coach of the Men’s Basketball team at Macalester college.  He grew up in South Mpls.   Macalester is trying to make themselves accessible to kids of low socio-economics.
