Jim and Ian recapped and reacted to the Steelers what turned out to be a heart breaking loss to the Vikings this past Thursday night. The loss was ugly on both sides of the ball but Big Ben and the Steelers offense did make a late push offensively after being down 29-0 in the second half. The guys also previewed the Steelers next matchup against the Titans as every game left on the schedule needs to be a win for the Steelers if they want to make the playoffs.  And of course, we had to talk about Kenny Pickett a little more and the rule he played in banning the fake slide in NCAA Football. Jim and Ian discuss a plethora of topics in the newest episode! They of course talked about the Steeler's debacle against the Bengals and the current SHENANIGANS that are happening with the team. The guys also quickly covered what is happening in college football currently with coaches on the move for other programs and some coaches signing large contracts to stay with their programs. Of course, Jim and Ian discussed the latest Pirates trade as they sent Gold-Glove winner Jacob Stallings to the Miami Marlins for three prospects. Naturally, an argument erupted as Jim was once again critical of the organization's decision-making while Ian defended the move. Then out of nowhere, an argument erupted again, this time over which goaltender led the Pittsburgh Penguins to the Stanley Cup victories back in 2016 and 2017. This was one of the most random arguments yet on the show! The Steelers took down the Cleveland Bowns Sunday in an AFC North Halloween matchup that sure was spooky!! But luckily for the Steelers, they were able to leave Cleveland with the narrow victory to improve to 4-3 overall this season. Jim and Ian had a lot to say as usual but it was Jim that took over the mic this episode to say his thoughts on the fake field goal call that knocked kicker Chris Boswell out of the game, leaving the Steelers without a kicker for the second half. Jim did not mince his words when speaking about the call by Coach Tomlin which led into a discussion about Mike Tomlin overall. Tons of SHENANIGANS in this episode including candy corn!
