SPORTS YEAR

Jamie has to rearrange his plans when an old friend who was a Sports Year donor forces him to attend the Notre Dame - OU game and it's a decision that will eventually bring Jamie to tears for the first time ever at a Notre Dame football game.

The next day, after his car gets broken into, Jamie receives a reminder to keep things in perspective when he goes to a charity softball game involving the USA Patriots, America's Amputee softball team.

When the Atlanta Braves baseball game is rained out, Jamie struggles to find a replacement event and has to come to the realization that the streak and his dream for Sports Year is over, only a month into his journey.

Jamie experiences Death Valley for the first time when LSU faces one of their rivals in the SEC, those other Tigers from Auburn. By his side for the game is Aaron, a wounded veteran, and before the game, they have the opportunity to meet LSU baseball coach Paul Mainieri.

Jamie travels to Jerry World to see the Cowboys play the Giants, but more importantly, he's able to take Oscar, a wounded veteran, along with him to share in the experience of going to this sports mecca for the first time.

After a successful Day One, Jamie travels to Lincoln, Nebraska for the experience of Cornhusker football on a Saturday in the Fall, but as fate would have it, he falls in love with another Cornhusker team.
