  • Kyrie vs Boston
The NBA Playoffs have come and given us a very exciting first weekend of basketball. Coming into the playoffs one matchup was talked about a lot. Nets vs Celtics. The Nets have been a team in the news all year, and the Celtics had a total resurgence, led by stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. The first game didn't disappoint, with a very chaotic finish, ending with a Jayson Tatum game-winning layup. The bigger talk was the behavior of Kyrie Irving, who at times seemed to retaliate back at the fans. The podcast is available on both iTunes and Soundcloud.

  • The Brilliance of March Madness
Every year millions of people make their brackets and hope of being the last one standing. We are told every year to pick the 12th seed over the 5th seed at least once. And never pick a team to win a national championship to win if they are their tournament champions. Last year's tournament had its great moments but what was missing was the true atmosphere of what college basketball is about. The fans. And this year they did not disappoint. The first thing that stands out amongst the rest is the unimaginable run that a small private Jesuit university made to the Elite 8. The podcast is available on both iTunes and Soundcloud.

  • The Problem With The New Overtime
Looking back at the 2022 playoffs, one event stands out from a lot of the rest, and it's not the Super Bowl. In fact, it was weeks before in a divisional game between the Chiefs and Bills. After a back and forth game, with a total of 25 points in the final two minutes. The Bills would see their Super Bowl hopes to disappear quickly after losing the coin toss. After a tough loss for the BIlls, lots of controversies started to run throughout the rest of the postseason and trickled into the offseason from fan bases. The NFL sided with upset Bills fan bases and other fanbases, announcing new overtime rules. In today's episode, I give my take on the recent changes to overtime rules, and why the impact is larger than just a few upset fans. The podcast is available on both iTunes and Soundcloud.

  • Stop The Clock | Ep.13
The NFL this week saw plenty of big news that could affect many teams and their futures. It was reported earlier this week that the Cowboys could potentially, release or trade star receiver Amari Cooper. This move comes as sort of a shock, as Cooper is only in the 3rd year of his five-year, 100 million dollar extension. Cooper is not the only player to be on the news circuit. The Patriots have made it clear they will not tag J.C Jackson, letting him hit the open market this offseason. Sam and I discuss both of these roster moves and give our takes on what the teams will do. Also, in a segment of Stop The Clock, Sam and I choose 2 teams from both the AFC and NFC West and give our take on what we want them, what they should, and what they will do this offseason. All of this and more on the newest episode of Stop The Clock.
