We are celebrating 126 years of victory to Ethiopia; a moment in time when Italy’s attempt to build an Empire in Africa failed miserably. The Battle of Adwa is a constant reminder of what us, as Africans can do when we unite. It is through the primal artistry of unification and progressive work, that Ethiopia was able to gain victory against colonial forces. Humbly, we salute the green, yellow and red Ethiopian flag as a symbol of colonial liberation.

Mijay is a Sierra Leonean Ghanaian base musician. Born in Saudi Arabia, she grew up in Sierra Leone and is a Graduate of the IPAM UNIVERSITY of Sierra Leone where she studied financial services.
