Ankita talks about her journey to top ranked Indian Woman Tennis Player and what it means for her to have a dream. Ankita spoke to us about how tennis has grown in India over the years and how the team India has competitive as well as friendship environment with a great team mates as Sania Mirza, Rutuja Bhosale, Karman Kaur Thandi and others.

This 79th episode of Sportsy LetsAIMSports with Sid Deshmukh features former international Indo-Japanese professional footballer, India international midfielder, coach with Reliance Foundation Young Champ, Arata Izumi.  

Arata took us on a ride through his amazing journey from Japan to Singapore back to Japan and to India.   Arata played through Albirex Niigata Singapore, Mitsubishi Mizushima, East Bengal FC, Mahindra United, Pune FC, Atlético de Kolkata, Mumbai FC, FC Pune City, NEROCA FC before hanging his boots with Kerala Blasters.   

While playing through iLeague and ISL, Arata played for India National Football team between 2013 and 2014.   

After hanging his boots, Arata is a coach with Reliance Foundation Young Champ, the youth academy division for the Indian Super League  Arata is at his candid best while talking about his 1st impression of Indian football and where it has reached over the years.

In this 76th episode of Sportsy LetsAIMSports with Sid Deshmukh, we chat with one of the most inspiring stories of India's Para athletes history. India's 10m and 25m para shooter, a proud GoSports Foundation athlete, triple amputee, Pooja Agarwal.  

Pooja, met with an accident and lost her limbs. This changed her life, but a fighter in her never gave up and she studied as well as started sports to come out of things. Today she is an  international para shooter for India and hopeful for Tokyo 2020 Para Olympic qualification.   

Beyond shooting, Pooja's mental toughness got her to river rafting as well as scuba diving.. She is helping many disable people through her youtube channel.

In this 75th episode of Sportsy LetsAIMSports with Sid Deshmukh, we chat with India's Rio 2016 Olympic Racewalker, a proud GoSports Foundation athlete, Manish Singh Rawat.  

Manish, who used to walk 7-8 km to go to his school developed liking for fast walking and running and his school PT teacher asked him to compete in race walking in school and he has never looked back since then.   

Manish competed in 20km racewalking event in Rio 2016 and finished 13th making him the only Olympic race walker from India.   

Manish's exciting journey gets even exciting when him serving as a an inspector with Uttarakhand Police trained a kid to win Silver Medal at Youth Olympics in 2018.   

Manish spoke about the role played by GoSports Foundation in his sporting journey and he is grateful to be a GoSports athlete.

Namita spoke to us about sport of Canoeing and how she is accidental Canoeing athlete. Coming from very small village in Madhya Pradesh, she got attracted to the sport at MP State Water Sports Academy and became 1st Indian women to represent at world championship in Canoeing.

Latika spoke to us about her taekwondo journey and how it all started by following her elder brother to becoming a champion. Latika spoke about her learnings from extreme contact sports like taekwondo to being a role model to many aspiring athletes.   

Latika is a big supporter and activist for women's causes and specifically talk about women in sport. Her vision about openness about discussing women centric problem to changing the mindset of coaches that girls needs different and customised schedule is commendable.

Ankur, who became fully blind at the tender age of 5, is a true champion and India's only blind runner who competed in Rio Para Olympics, and have won numerous accolades for India at International level. Ankur spoke about his journey, his college days and his training as a blind runner.   

Ankur told us about the role of guide who runs with him during the competitions. His message to the budding athletes and their parents is invaluable.
