Spot of Nerd

#merrychristmas to all! A year of firsts for #spotofnerd, so why not talk #christmas!

It’s genuinely a special time of year to come together, give back, and reflect on the year that was…

It’s a time for giving. Whether your time and/or money. To better others around you and ultimately continue your life in the best way possible…

It’s also a time for the classics! A time to relax, sit back, and enjoy those movies and television that remind you of your childhood. What’s your favourite movie or TV show from back in the day? Specifically around Xmas… There is so much great content around Christmas it’s crazy! So you know we had to talk about it!

Happy Holidays to everyone and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

So yeah… There’s a NEW movie on #dailywire called #ladyballers! And yes, I think it’s one of the best films of 2023. The production alone is superior to most films from #marvel at the moment!

Um, yeah… So here’s the review from yours truly, Spot of Nerd. Enjoy? Jurassic Park is a great film by the way. Mr. Robot was an incredible show… I should watch it again.

Until next time folks! Happy Holidays to everyone and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

It was inevitable. #DoctorWho is now dead. #RIPDoctorWho. But seriously folks, are we really surprised at this point? The Doctor Who franchise has now been going on for 60 years… SIXTY YEARS! Clearly they’re doing something right no? But like all major franchises, all good things must come to an end. #spotofnerd

$20 bucks (imaginary, I don’t have any real money) says you can guess why Doctor Who is yet another one in which to bite the dust? I’ll SPOIL it for you… POLITICS and AGENDAS. God forbid the writers and producers continue writing great SIXTY-YEAR content! I’m most definitely not surprised. I’m simply saddened.

Marvel is dead. Star Wars is dead. DC is dead. Doctor Who is now dead. All in a matter of several years… When their roots have been around for nearly a century. What once was, is truly gone. To sound super pessimistic, I don’t know if we’ll ever get great story-telling ever again. At least, if it does happen, it’ll be few and far between.

Hello all! A switching of gears in this brand new EPISODE/PODCAST! I feel it completely necessary to discuss what the news and media is (as predicted) pushing a narrative that is NOT condoning the sheer high levels of #ANTISEMITISM that is destroying the world. Specifically in the United States.

Thankfully the US capital just this week had the biggest turnout in history in support for the people of #israel. It clearly goes without saying that #istandwithisrael. I do not stand for TERRORISTS (aka Hamas) who murder and rape women and children… The REAL peaceful protest had ZERO conflict with over 300k people in attendance. What a concept right? People coming together in hopes to join similarities and love in their own beliefs…

And then, is the ‘Age of the Good Guy’ gone? Or is there still a chance for those who still show respect and love for their partner now extinct? Let me know in the comments! And as always, out of pity, PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO SUBSCRIBE!

Ok, you absolutely know we have to do this! #themarvels is FINALLY here and lets just admit it, the #mcu has now officially gone by the way of its own Black Hole. It’s NOTHING! I, #spotofnerd told ya’ll long ago Marvel was dead. This is simply the nail in the coffin…

From #blackgirlmagic to tragic… Just tragic storytelling, I honestly didn’t think Disney Marvel Studios could get any worse?! But here we are. #holdmybeer is the phrase no?

Anyway, please enjoy this latest episode… Definitely one of my BEST! You’ll laugh and have a dam good time… But whatever you do, DO NOT GO SEE THIS FILM! Sweet Mother Mary it’s bad…

I feel it only necessary to discuss something very important like the most recent leak from #louderwithcrowder. The #nashvilleshooter had a #nashvillemanifesto and the FACTS are now real. The question we should all be asking, why? Why has it taken so long for it to be released? And above all else, why is there such an effort to hide it?! To bury it.

You’ll notice no one is refuting the leak… But they sure are going after Steven Crowder in the most heinous ways. Again, why? Why go after someone seeking the TRUTH?

What happened this past March in Nashville was absolutely tragic… But I do genuinely hope this leak shows that more gun control is not the answer. We need to stop punishing law abiding citizens and start holding individuals accountable.

#southparkjoiningthepanderverse is truly some of the greatest content streaming currently… And you know #spotofnerd needs to jump on the metaphoric bandwagon to discuss it! It’s #southpark at its finest. #joiningthepanderverse is honestly the greatest leap FORWARD I’ve seen in AGES! But why?

That’s where we’ll talk… Because in today’s society, EVERYTHING is off limits. At least if you want to retain employment and in some cases, you’re very own life! It truly is AMAZING what South Park can create and the lines that they can cross. They’re not afraid to live and understand was a JOKE is… Something I wish the rest of the world could get back to. I’m praying this will be the first step forward to potentially allowing that to happen.
