Spot of Nerd

Hello all! Boy do I have quite the DOOZY for you guys tonight...

So I actually saw #markiplier SELF-FINANCED film #ironlung.

Four words - WHAT THE ACTUAL FU$K?!

Seriously, what on God's GREEN Earth did I watch?!

Jokes aside, it is ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE! Highly recommend seeing it... Even if at first you will have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what you're watching... Just think of an ACID trip, but then mix EPIC SCI-FI story-telling and the cherry on top, Hollywood didn't touch it...

And then I discovered a new COMMUNITY on #reddit that I felt we should check out TOGETHER! Cause ya know, LET'S GO THERE SHALL WE?

See what I did there?

I'll see myself out and kick my own A$$...

Whelp, another film to check off the list of movies I've been meaning to watch... #thehousemaid is definitely most noteworthy due to the AMAZING #sydneysweeney!

Every time I think of her, I can't help but think of Johnny Depp's portrayal of 'Sweeney Todd - The Demon Barber of Fleet Street'. And yes, that one episode of The Office... Fu$k I'm getting old...

But yeah, it's a movie... SPOILERS of course, but I'd say it was a worthy watch... Yes, there is an ultimate overall MEANING behind it that one might see as a tiresome argument... However, again, not shying away from the FACT that you do get to see MIZZ Sweeney in ALL HER GLORY!

That's beside the point!

It's well written... Leads you into believing one thing, then reverses the script (no pun intended). You will definitely predict just about everything in a matter of minutes if you pay close enough attention...

Did I mention you see Sydney in ALL HER GLORY?!

Well folks, we kinda already knew... But now with the POWER of SCIENCE! We have the #facts...

For the first time in human history, it has now been recorded that today's generation are officially LESS intelligent than those who came before... Absolutely no one should be surprised by this. Have you been outside?

And Mario... Yes, that one. #supermario

What is the BEST? What was the BEST? And I have an idea for the third film in completing the TRILOGY...

P.S. I cannot wait for #thesupermariogalaxymovie!

P.P.S. The intelligence thing? Seriously look it up... Not even kidding. There's actual DATA backing up the lowering of today's IQs...

I say again, you should not be surprised by this.

It's movie review time! And boy do we have a BANGER as the youth today would say...

#weburythedead is one hell of an emotional, gritty, classy NEW take on the #zombie franchise! Sadly, you almost feel bad for #daisyridley not getting the recognition this film ultimately deserves... It barely made the sound of a fart in the wind during its release and I'm only now watching it because of an ad I saw in passing showing it now on digital...

For real though, HIGHLY recommend watching. Great story showing the cliché ZOMBIE apocalypse in a completely NEW, unique way that you'll never see coming... And beautifully written with characters that aren't over the top and/or will make your eyes roll.

Yes, it is technically a LOVE story... But will leave you with your eyes fixed to the screen wondering what comes next. And lastly, the cinematography is OUTSTANDING! Incredible visuals that really show the aftermath of what could happen if something like this took place...

FOUR cups of tea from yours truly Spot of Nerd!

Now if only Daisy can find something to get her back on top again... No not like that!

I'm referring to film dammit!

There's a PLETHORA (I've always wanted to use that word...) of items to discuss, but I wanted to focus on some of the main points in the news this past weekend that I feel DEFINE ReAlItY today...

By definition proving that the 'HAVES' and 'HAVE NOTS' will NEVER be on the metaphoric same page... Why?

Because the majority live in the REAL world.

So the #emmys was last evening where the usual talking points came up... Except they're officially falling, METAPHORICALLY speaking... On deaf ears as the saying goes. Anyone see #billieelilish standing arm-in-arm with the VIOLENT protesters in MN?

Neither did I...

Even Hollywood can't stand the folks in REALITY winning... Where a YouTube star making his own film, #ironlung completely OWNED the box office this weekend, they actually pulled the DATA showing Hollywood's complete and utter ANNIHILATION by a film made not by a major studio... It's INCREDIBLE!

And then we got #tedlasso and 'WHY ON GOD'S GREEN EARTH DID THEY MADE' a fourth season comes to light... Yes, it's everything you'd expect from the world in which the 'NON-believers' live...

What could have been an EPIC conclusion will ultimately be destroyed in a matter of the first episode in season 4... I'd say what?

43 minutes?

It's February 1st today and we've got lots to talk about in the realm of NERDINESS...

From #aknightofthesevenkingdoms and whether it's worth watching to #startrekstarfleetacademy doing what Ironman said in Tropic Thunder... Let alone I just may have found my HOLY GRAIL! But do I bite the metaphoric bullet...

Think #tronlegacy...

Plus, I'm re-watching the Ted movies and NEW series on Peacock... Trust me folks, if you need a good laugh, HIGHLY recommended! And finally, they seriously made a #thedevilwearsprada2 movie?!

Ya'll smell that? It's called desperation...

30 FREAKING DAYS PEOPLE! THIRTY DAYS STRAIGHT...

It's been INCREDIBLE! My SUPER THANKS, LOVE, and all the FEELS for everyone COMMENTING, SUBSCRIBING... FOLLOWING... LIKING, and all the other stuff too... Like the DEATH threats... I see you!

#donlemon literally gets what he asked for all along... He got arrested. But is this a good thing?

Sure, there is the debate of turning this alleged 'unintelligent' acted-out individual... Into a #martyr... However, I'm gonna go against the grain here and say the GOOD out ways the BAD.

WE CAN'T keep letting these acts of VIOLENCE happen! Let alone allowing this violence to occur without consequence.

Then I saw an interesting video today with influencer @emilyking_ on her Instagram... Where a lady gave quite the 'debate' into modern day #feminism... As in, has modern day feminism DESTROYED #chivalry?

My advice... ABSOLUTELY!

Sure, it's not the TOTAL and complete reason MEN are bowing out of relationships and/or marriage altogether today... But yes, CHIVALRY does play a HUGE part. Masculine men are protectors... They want their significant other to feel SPECIAL and overall SAFE...

So what's the answer then...

It's really quite simple... And no, I'm not afraid to speak this aloud...

Ladies, it's time you fix your own... Cause guys have been told to leave you alone.

And for the first time in history... We're listening.

Pretty clean cut folks... Today is like God's Day of REST!

So we must remain faithful and play #videogames... Specifically the EPIC story of a PLUMMER in the MAGIC KINGDOM!

It's a #supermarioodyssey kind of day... Especially with that recent NEW trailer release for #thesupermariogalaxymovie!

What other PLUMMER do you know with their own movie?!

Hello all! Kind of a SLOW news day... Or at least not without repeating pretty much what we're ALL aware of currently happening in the world... So I thought we'd explore a bit more on the idea behind potentially firing up a 'DATING' profile to see if it was possible... By some MIRACLE, to meet and build a new friendship...

Here's the kicker... I decided to see what #reddit was saying about #hinge.

Holy MOLY! UUMMMM... So yeah...

(Changes conversation...)

Did ya'll know #jamesbond is currently streaming on Netflix? Like every MOVIE! Daniel Craig got done DIRTY as the youth of today would say...

And then... TOTALLY RANDOM... But did ya'll realize the #olympics starts next week?!

The ACTUAL fu$k!?

Do people still watch that? I mean no disrespect to the athletes... But didn't an ALLEGED 'certain' demographic make NEWS last time by beating up another 'certain' demographic?

Gotta be careful folks...

Anyway, LET’S GO THERE SHALL WE?
