Members of the 8th Comptroller Squadron conduct an initial post-attack reconnaissance sweep of their building during an exercise on Kunsan Air Base. PAR teams are used after an attack to check for casualties, unexploded ordinances, and contamination from chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear or explosive weapons. Once the sweep is accomplished, the Service members can continue to defend the base.
